Hercules to Thor

Early Life

Spyro Arsenios Matsoukas was born in ancient Athens, Greece to Olympian, Zeus Panhellenios and human mother, Elena Matsoukas. After the death of his mother, Spyro was taken under his father's care where he was given the name "Hercules" by his stepmother, Hera after discovering that he was inherited with godly superhuman strength and because she thought it would be a better name for him, and Zeus agreed to have him renamed to fit in with the Olympians.

Throughout his childhood, Hercules began training with the Olympians, learning how to master his strength and unlock more of his gifted powers such as lightning and sky manipulation, making him rival Thor Odinson, his future Avenger teammate. However, his status as a demigod, made Hercules arrogant and he would often challenge skilled warriors whenever he spends time with the citizens of Athens, competing in battles in colosseums. One day he challenged a battle against the Minyan warriors, beating them with ease. This led to the war against Minya and Thebe, imprisoning him for the attack and sentencing him to death. But thanks to his invulnerability, the axe shattered after hitting his neck. At the time, Amphytrion was slaughtered and the king of Minya thanked him for saving his kingdom, and he introduced him to his daughter, Megara who he befriends and later falls in love with, his arrogance changing to humility.

As the years went by, Hercules became known as the Hero of Olympus after defeating his uncle Hades who tried to bring domination after being banished exiled from Mount Olympus for treason saving Greece from destruction. However, after suffering devastating heartbreak from Megara who leaves him to marry a king from Aegetrias, Hercules decided to travel across Earth while Zeus watched over him as he began his trek all over the globe, helping citizens as the years progressed and his status as a demigod came into light throughout the countries.

Present Day

Years later, Hercules traveled to New York City and at the time, the whole Earth became modernized which he didn't find surprising because he had already seen the evolution of the Earth thanks to his god-like longevity. He stumbles upon a massive fight between the Avengers and AIM. Reminiscing the days of battle back in Greece, Hercules takes down AIM with ease, with the help of his lightning and sky powers and it left the Avengers in shock, especially Thor who was left utterly speechless. He eventually joins the Avengers after fighting alongside them and develops a friendly rivalry with Thor, competing who is the strongest god.

He also fights with the Inhumans and he meets Inferno through Black Bolt and Medusa, however he didn't want to start a relationship with the pyrokinetic Inhuman due to getting heartbroken by Megara. He eventually had a change of heart when he started fighting alongside Inferno and they became friends. After the team-up with the Inhumans, Hercules continued his allegiance to the Avengers but he started spending most of his time with Inferno, eventually falling in love with him and starting a relationship with him, which earned Zeus' blessing.
