History
Gwen Warren seemingly had a similar history as her Earth-616 counterpart.
Warren was a genetically engineered hybrid of a homo insectus, a human, and a mutant. Her maker also created Scarlet Spider and Kaine Parker. In the beginning, she hadn't developed sentience and transformed into a giant spider. She was defeated by Superior Spider-Man and a group of teachers working at Jean Grey School For Higher Learning, who took advantage of spiders being sensitive to changes in air pressure.
She was taken to the school and when she gained sentience, enrolled as a student under the name Gwen Warren. Unfortunately, Gwen eventually flunked out of school and decided to hide among mankind. Years later, she was found by a renegade mutant and brought back into the field. Gwen decided to take the codename Spider-Gwen, shedding her human facade. Troubled by her leader's methods, she contacted her former mentors. While the rogue mutant escaped, Spider-Gwen was accepted back into the Mutant community and was given Krakoa citizenship.

Following Parker Industries' expansion into Krakoa, Superior Spider-Man approached her and offered her a place in Spider-Man Incorporated. He made her a suit made of Unstable Molecules that allowed her to repair her suit with just a thought. Spider-Gwen was partnered with Creepy Crawler, another Krakoan. He gifted her a gateway so that she could access his base, Narthex, as it could normally only be accessed by teleporters.
