Gwen-Verse is a Disney+ original miniseries based off of the comics and character(s) of the same name and the eighth entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe - MAX Phase 4.

Synopsis[]

Philip Voight, in an attempt to escape the insane Justice, has smashed through the multiversal membrane with the help of Izanami Randall, crossing over from Earth-555 to Earth-774. This instability was the perfect chance the witch Morgan le Fey needed to escape her prison. Despite intending to extend an alliance towards Justice, Morgan regardless finds herself his enemy - the burgeoning resulting war a situation eternal-opportunist Matt Murdock intends to exploit. Madness overruns Earth-774, and only New York's local superhero Gwen Stacy can save the day. Actually, make that a whole lot of Gwen Stacies.

Cast and Characters[]

Main Cast[]

  • Maddie Hasson as:
    • Gwen Stacy / Spider-Gwen
The one, the only, the original Gwen Stacy. Sort of. At least, the version who didn't die and instead was bitten by a radioactive spider. Using Matt Murdock's own multiversal gateway, she calls upon multiple versions of herself to help save her world from Justice and Morgan le Fay, but finds that most versions of her aren't a Spider-Woman at all...
    • Gwen Stacy / The Mighty Gwen
A variant of Gwen who somehow happened upon Mjolnir and was found worthy, obtaining all the powers of Thor Odinson. As a result, she lives two lives - one in Asgard as its defender, the other the "Norse Goddess of Rock", lead guitarist of the Mary Janes.
    • Gwen Stacy / Iron Gwen
A variant of Gwen who became Tony Stark's protege. Following his death against the final battle with Thanos, she became his heir - succedding him as "Iron Woman."
    • Olivia Gord / The Wolverine
A variant who was born a mutant with healing properties. After being subjected to Weapon-X experiments, she escaped and became a member of the X-Men: The Wolverine; the best at what she does.
    • Gwen Stacy / Venom
A variant of Gwen who formed a bond with the Symbiote, becoming Venom.
    • Gwen Palmer / Master Gwen
A variant who was adopted by Christine Palmer at a young age, and eventually joined the Masters of the Mystic Arts along with Stephen Strange, becoming a powerful mage in her own right.
    • Jennifer Walters / The Hulk
A variant of Jen Walters that for some reason bears an uncanny resemblance to Gwen Stacy
    • Gwendolyn Poole / Gwenpool
Not actually a Gwen Stacy (she somehow showed up by mistake...). She is a die-hard fan of something called "Marvel Studios", and claims that everyone before her are just characters. She just may hail from a universe eerily similar to that of Alfie O'Meagan's, if her newfound reality shaping powers are anything to go by. She dons a pink version of Deadpool's outfit, as he is her "favorite character."
  • Bryan Cranston as John Tensen / Justice
A former detective who went insane after obtaining multiple powers following the White Event on Earth-555. He seeks to murder Voight as ultimate proof of his justice, and relentlessly hounds him.
  • Rosa Salazar as Morgan le Fey
A witch who was imprisoned in "Weirdworld", thanks to the damaged caused by Justice, she has managed to escape. She attempts an alliance with him, but he sees her as someone pure evil and in need of being eliminated. Still, she's not just about to forge an alliance with heroes to save her own skin...
  • Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock / Kingpin
The Kingpin of Crime who was defeated by Spider-Gwen and imprisoned. Despite his cage, he is still a schemer to the end and isn't about to waste the opportunity a fight between Justice and Morgan will bring about. The invention he crafted from Morlun's corpse ironically ends up becoming his worst nightmare: Used to summon forth multiple Gwen Stacies.

Wilson Fisk's son. He too is locked up in Seagate along with Murdock, and is desperate to keep the blind mastermind from having him killed.
