Gulyadkin was a lion that lived in Africa and came to be in service of Kraven the Hunter. Gulyadkin went with Kraven to New York City to hunt Spider-Man. He protected Kraven from the Spider-Initiative and attacked on his orders. He also served as a steed for Kraven to escape upon.

Like most lions, Gulyadkin could run at a peak of 36 mph, possessed claws on each paw, a tail and sharp fangs. Gulyadkin was an excellent hunter and tracker.
