History[]
The Guardians of the Galaxy have the same history as their Earth-616 counterparts just beyond the events of Secret Empire.
Talon, who had been resurrected thanks to one of Adam Warlock's evolutionary cocoons, was able to deactivate the shield and teleport the Guardians back to Knowhere, leaving Earth's heroes the task of overcoming Hydra's threat, but giving them a precious gift that would later be essential to allow the superheroes of Earth the victory. This gift was a fragment of Kubik, the Cosmic Cube that was created before Kobik. Kubik served to rescue the true Captain America in time for him to lead the heroes to defeat his evil Nazi counterpart. The Guardians of the Galaxy have remained united ever since, always ready to take action to defend the cosmos from threats.
