Guardians of the Galaxy: Rewind is a film based off of the comics and character(s) of the same name and the fourth entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe - MAX Phase 2. It is directed by Taika Waititi.

Synopsis[]

The origin story of the Ravagers, as well as where the Infinity Saga began. Stakar Ogord is the infamous leader of a band of pirates, but little does his crew know that he's indebted to Korvac for much of his fleet of ships. In order to settle the debt, Stakar is offered to pay it off with but a single job: Pull a heist on Hala, the Kree homeworld, and steal the "Ego Core", a mystical gem eerily similar to the six Infinity Stones.

Cast and Characters[]

  • Sylvester Stallone as Stakar Ogord
    The leader of the Ravagers, he seeks to expand his fleet and faction but must first pay the debt he owes. A capable and natural leader, he's known for his ruthlessness but also hides a great capacity for kindness. Sylvester Stallone is digitally de-aged for the role.
  • James Callis as Warchief Korvac
    An infamous and brutal warlord as well as the scientist who created the Chitauri. Stakar is indebted to him for providing the Ravagers with their ships. He seeks to collect the Infinity Stones for his "master", and pursues a mysterious gem he believes may be even more powerful.
  • Michael Rosenbaum as Martinex T'Naga
    A Pluvian hailing from an alternate universe. A technological genius, Stakar defers to him on such matters.
  • Michael Rooker as Yondu Udonta
    A hotshot pilot and gunslinging Ravager eager to impress Stakar enough to earn leadership of his own faction. Michael Rooker is digitally de-aged for the role.
  • Ving Rhames as Charlie-27
    Another interdimensional adventurer with a colorful past who joined Stakar's Ravagers. Despite his gigantic frame, he's the heart and moral center of the crew.
  • Michelle Yeoh as Aleta Ogord
    Stakar's wife. The two adventured and stole for years before creating the Ravagers. A skilled warrior and tactician. Michelle Yeoh is digitally de-aged for the role.
  • Chris Sullivan as Taserface
    The moronic brute of the Ravagers. He second-guesses nearly every decision Stakar makes despite his incompetence, but is loyal to Yondu and supports in joining his own faction.
  • Jude Law as Yon-Rogg
    A newly-minted agent of Starforce and the one tasked with protecting the Ego Core.
  • Lee Pace as Ronan
    The commander of the Kree Starforce and Yon-Rogg's superior.
  • Rune Temte as Bron-Char
    A hulking member of the Starforce.
  • Kenneth Branagh as Kree Prime Minister
    The Prime Minister of the Kree Empire, he speaks on behalf of the Supreme Intelligence.
  • Josh Brolin as Thanos
    The Mad Titan who seeks the Infinity Stones. Korvac reports to him.
  • Alexis Denisof as The Other
    Thanos's unpleasant vizier and servant.
