Genso (元祖, Ganzo), born in K'un-Lun, is a former disciple of Iron Fist but was exiled for treason against the Immortal One, disobeying direct orders, and conspiring to murder his master out of his hunger for power. He is a well known threat to the X-Men and the Avengers, capable of wiping out half a team single-handedly. He is classified as a Beta to Alpha-Level threat to heroes and villains alike despite being only human.
Appearance
Ganzo is a young man with sharp features, and has a very slim yet muscular physique. While not being particularly large in size, he's more than capable of handling beings larger in size than he is. Before his exile, he commonly sported traditional white martial-arts robes, a long red belt commemorating his rank among other students, with black Tai Chi slippers as footwear. After his exile and encounter with the X-Men, he has since then sported a tight, black long-sleeved shirt with black, loose-fitting martial arts pants. He still wears the same slippers, similar to his former master. After his ferocious battle with Earth's Mightiest Heroes and shortly after his "awakening", Ganzo's appearance changed quite drastically, as he was now never seen with upperbody wear, his eye color shifted in tone to a white color, and his skin became more armored-like and metallic. His hair also spiked up in an uneven fashion, as well as resembling the same metallic look as the rest of his body.
Powers and Abilities
Powers
Superhuman Strength: Genso's strength exponentially grows with every passing second, easily allowing him to perform superhuman feats of strength, such as lifting cars above his head, easily crushing concrete, and lifting large boulders above his head.
Superhuman Speed: Can easily react to and evade speeding objects faster than the normal human eye, and can easily react to and/or outrun speeding bullets.
Superhuman Reflexes: He has drastically enhanced reaction speed, allowing them to dodge bullets, catch flies in mid-air, dodge and maneuver around complex attacks, catch falling objects, block detriments and react instantaneously to what others take more time to react to.
Superhuman Stamina: He is able to exert himself physically as well as mentally for an indefinite amount of time without tiring. He has fought multiple heroes for extended amounts of time without breaking a sweat.
Superhuman Durability: Allows him to easily take more extreme levels of punishment that would kill any ordinary human. He has survived falls from tall buildings, has been impaled multiple times, and has tanked explosive blasts that could instantly evaporate small structures.
Accelerated Healing: Gan possesses an advanced healing factor, which explains why he was able to constantly battle powerful heroes despite being injured. Through meditation, he can harness his latent energy (chi) to slow bleeding, decelerate heart rate, or to quickly close open wounds.
Interdimensional Travel: Allows him limited access to numerous amounts of different dimensions, altered realities, and universes. Earth-616 in particular, as well as others.
Awakened (Dragon Form)
"Awakened Gan"(目覚めたガン, Mezameta gan) is what Iron Fist calls him after absorbing the full might of Shao-Lao the Undying.

After defeating multiple heroes such as Spider-Man, Black Widow, and Luke Cage, battling the X-Men single-handedly, and fully absorbing the might of Shao-Lao the Undying, his mutation finally gives way. His body slowly becomes metallic-like, he develops metal claw-like fingernails, and his hair raises up at two pointed tips. Due to absorbing Shao-Lao's dragon energy, his entire body becomes dragon-like as well, growing scale-like armor plates.
By the time he battled and defeated the X-Men for the third time, it was noted that his abilities were now elevated to a significantly higher degree, and his full potential is near-limitless. In this instance, his threat level is raised from Alpha Level to potential Omega Level.
Supernatural Strength: Due to being granted access to the full extent of Shao Lao's might, his strength has increased a significant amount, allowing him to exert his muscles at a higher degree. He can level a city-block with a single punch, overpowered the Hulk, and even split the atmosphere with a simple wave of his hand.
Supernatural Speed: His augmented speed allows him to access speeds of up to Mach 8 (5,928mph), allowing him to react to someone as fast as Quicksilver, dodge incoming missiles and close-proximity explosions, and outmaneuver Iron Man's repulsor blasts.
Abilities
Accelerated Development: He has the ability to raise his statistics and/or abilities at a much faster pace than a normal person is able to. He can use this ability to reap the fruits of his training with far less effort and time than most, improving his overall power effortlessly.
Genius Combatant: Gan is an extremely skilled martial artist, who is able to adapt to opponents techniques during battle as well as exploiting enemy weak spots for an edge in battle. While fighting or observing, he can slowly gain access to his opponent's techniques, battle tactics, and strategies. Furthermore, by analyzing his opponent's line of vision, posture, breathing, muscle tension, or movement patterns, he can almost perfectly predict his opponent's next movement. This proves very helpful in battles against heroes, as well as in his battle against Iron Fist.
Fighting Styles
Flowing Wind Shattering Shadow Fist: (流れる風飛散シャドウ, Nagareru kaze hisan shadō) A martial art learned from Gan's time spent within the organization,

The Hand. It is composed of a series extremely fast and powerful punches targeted at an opponent's vital points, followed up by an extremely quick, and devastating uppercut with enough force to shut down a person's vital organs indefinitely, even causing them to explode from the pressure of the strike, hence the term Shadow Fist. Matt Murdock witnessed this technique in person from a long-time member of The Hand. He described it as "witnessing multiple afterimages of your opponent strike you at the same time". The martial art can be used purely offensively, or defensively, aiming to nullify enemy attacks, redirect them with twice the force, or to completely shut down an opponent from the inside.
Cyclone Bomb Exploding Fist: (サイクロン爆弾爆発拳, Saikuron bakudan bakuhatsu ken) A martial art learned after absorbing immense levels of energy from Shao-Lao the Undying after his short-lived battle involving Cyclops, The X-Men, Hope, the Thunderer, and the Avengers. This martial art style involves a powerful hand
The explosive detonation caused from Gan's technique
movement technique to then channel massive amounts of dragon energy to the user's hand. The user then applies various degrees of force in any direction (usually the current ground below the user), causing everything in a nearby vicinity to detonate upon contact of the shockwave caused from the user's strike. The shockwave force alone is powerful enough to instantaneously vaporize concrete in a small, nearby radius.
