Sam Alexander created his own Nova Corps after understanding his full potential. Sam Alexander received the ability to grant anyone the power of the Nova Corps. He initially only gave it to his girl friend Kate Klovis in order to save here life from Titus, but then began to recreate the Nova Corps with many different jobs within it. Fratas was the first amongst many to be a part of the student body at the Nova Corps.
