History

"Mr. Storm? I'm Agent 33, I've been reassigned to be your SHIELD liaison officer."
Frankie Raye, also known as Agent 33, is a SHIELD field agent currently assigned to be the liaison officer with the super hero group known as the Fantastic Four under the Avengers Protocols. Raye is relatively new at both this job and as a SHIELD agent in general. The daughter of a Sydney socialite, Raye's father died when she was barely two years old, and her mother quickly remarried an acclaimed physicist by the name of Phineas Horton. Raye had a close relationship with her stepfather growing up, but an unspecified incident in her teenage years caused the two to become estranged. Though she has not spoken of him directly, Reed Richards assumed that her stepfather was dead by the time she was assigned to act with the Fantastic Four.

Immigrating from Australia to the United States when she was 15, Frankie eventually enrolled at the University of Virginia where she was studying political science and history. When she graduated, she was first recruited by the CIA due to her ability to speak several different languages, most notably Arabic. However she was inspired by the actions of Captain America during the publicized Triskellion incident, which led her to seek to join SHIELD instead of the CIA. After becoming a full fledged agent, she was assigned abroad briefly before returning home and being reassigned to the Fantastic Four following their exploits with Doctor Doom in Latveria and the reassignment of Agent Maria Hill. Frankie seemed to have an attraction to Johnny Storm, the youngest member of the superhero team, and aided them in giving them intelligence during the Sakarran incursion of the Hulk. She remains assigned to the team to this day, and was seen summoning them to engage in the protection of Earth during the Second Chitauri Invasion.

It has been speculated that Frankie and Johnny Storm have secretly been dating, though this is unconfirmed as of yet.

Alternate Universe

In the alternate universe of Infinity War, Frankie Raye died either during the Second Chitauri Invasion or as a result of the Decimation of Thanos.

Powers & Abilities

  • SHIELD agent training: As Raye is a SHIELD agent, it can safely be assumed that she has the same level of combat and firearms training as any other SHIELD agent.

Weaknesses

Frankie has no special abilities that would protect her from significant harm. She also is said to be a relatively new SHIELD agent, making her far less experienced than many other SHIELD agents that have been seen in the MCU to date.
