Spider-Man

Early Life

The life of Spider-Man started off in the borough of Queens, New York City. His true identity is Peter Benjamin Parker the son of Richard and Mary Parker as well as the nephew of May and Ben Parker. At the time, Peter's parents were top-secret agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and were sent on a mission to expose a hidden HYDRA base only for them to mysteriously disappear in action. It wasn't until later when other agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. found both Richard and Mary but were assassinated execution-style. The tragedy resulted in Peter being raised by both May and Ben. As Peter grew up, his high intelligence began to surface, leading him to become very talented in science and art, resulting him in being enrolled to Midtown High School of the Arts and Sciences. However, things didn't start smoothly for Peter as he was bullied by quarterback Flash Thompson non-stop, leading him to meeting high school junior Eddie Brock, followed by best friends Harry Osborn and Mary-Jane Watson.

One day, Harry introduced Peter to his father, Norman Osborn and he was impressed by his genius-level intelligence. He offers him along with some fellow students to go on a tour in his Oscorp Industries laboratory. During the tour, one of the scientists, Mendel Stromm presented the students a group of genetically-engineered spiders, each of them imbued with different superhuman abilities. One of them escaped from its containment and bites Peter in the hand, its venom mutating the cells in his body, giving him tremendous abilities of a Super-Soldier as well as the abilities of a spider. Once he discovered his powers, Peter felt a surge of confidence take over him and after beating Flash in a fight, he decided to practice with his newly-given powers, discovering abilities he never thought he had.

It wasn't until he got into wrestling where he was awarded more than $10,000 for taking out one of the toughest wrestlers. Because of it, Peter got involved in the wrestling entertainment industry, being given a special suit and given the name, the Masked Marvel. His involvement eventually brought arrogance within Peter and he began to hang out with the popular crowd, being chosen to become part of the school basketball team. His change of attitude brought the attention of his Aunt May and Uncle Ben and they confront him. Soon, Ben has a heart-to-heart with Peter, mentioning his late father, Richard and his philosophy of "great responsibility" but Peter wouldn't hear of it and he tells him off for it. But he got a wake-up call when he is approached by the police and tells him that both his aunt and uncle were involved in a robbery and a burglar shot and killed them both. This brought Peter into complete despair for May and Ben were the only family he had left. He tracks down the killer and violently confronts him, only to reveal that it was a robber that he had let go in the wrestling arena. Instead of finishing him off, he brings the burglar to the police where they arrested him. After the murder, Peter went to live with Eddie who owned an apartment and he began to reflect on his actions and he decided to take his uncle's words: "With great power, comes great responsibility" and use his powers for good, promising himself to protect the people he loved.

Life as Spider-Man

Peter quit the wrestling business and left the basketball team as a start in turning over a new leaf. Taking inspiration from his wrestler suit, Peter creates a new costume and dubs himself as Spider-Man and made his first appearance when a group of robbers were trying to heist an armored bank truck and he apprehended them swiftly. It eventually made it onto the front page of the Daily Bugle newspapers and it brought many attention to many citizens of New York City. Peter's low self-esteem shifted under the mask while he developed a persona of his alter-ego as wise-cracking, using jokes in his fights rather than being a stereotypical tough guy, using threats to intimidate his enemies.

As senior year began, Spider-Man's heroism and liberation created a positive impact for the city, creating fans from the children of grade school to the elderly who hadn't seen an ideal hero protecting the city since Captain America's golden years of heroism. Even the NYPD had admitted that the webslinger had inspired them to become more dedicated in protecting the streets while some of them were left bitter that a vigilante is apprehending everyday criminals. Not only that, he even battled super-powered villains that soon became some of his biggest foes he had battled throughout his career. His mostly known enemies he had battled were the Green Goblin, the crazed alter-ego of Norman, the Vulture, Rhino, Mysterio, the Lizard, Sandman, Doctor Octopus and even the Kingpin.

After graduating and starting his first year at Empire State University and his first job started at a pizza place called Romano's Pizza where he worked as a delivery boy. During one his shifts, he discovers that an electric-powered criminal named Electro was wreaking havoc after getting mutated by genetically-engineered eels developed in Alchemax Laboratories. He apprehends the villain just in time to make his delivery before his shift was over. However, his job didn't last as the pizza place would go out of business due to bankruptcy. Peter eventually applies for a job at the Daily Bugle where was given the job as photographer as his boss J. Jonah Jameson ordered him to take photos of his alter-ego as he showed a huge disdain towards the webslinger and wanted to expose him as a criminal. He had worked at the Bugle throughout his and had taken an earshot from Jameson who showed his hatred towards Spider-Man until he retired and Robbie Robertson took over as CEO of the Daily Bugle. Peter eventually worked there, building himself up as his own person until he leaves the Bugle and starts working as a freelance artist while continuing his crime-fighting career.

Heart of Glass

During his senior year in Midtown High and his career rising, Peter met college student, Johnny Storm through Eddie and he discovered that Johnny has gained a liking for Spider-Man like most of his classmates, followed by having the same interests. The twos started off as friends and Johnny introduced him his twin sister Susan and her boyfriend Reed Richards whom Johnny was living at the time. Eventually, Peter began to have feelings for Johnny and his feelings were reciprocated, leading to them dating until Peter graduated high school and started his years at Empire State University. Peter eventually revealed his identity to Johnny but he soon began to realize that his identity reveal began to cause friction between the two as Peter would try to reason with with Storm twin as he would face his foes who tried to kill him. This led to them having several arguments with one another, Johnny believing that Peter was putting his career over him. Things took the worst turn when Doctor Octopus kidnapped Johnny forcing Peter to fight him off and rescue him. This led Johnny to break up with Peter, not wanting to be involved in any more Peter's life as Spider-Man. However, they still remain friends as they went their separate ways, even though Peter was discouraged over their split.

S.H.I.E.L.D.

One day while he was doing his freelance work on his art and photography, he was approached by a mysterious man with an eyepatch who somehow knew his name. That man was Nick Fury, head director of S.H.I.E.L.D. and he wanted him to come to the headquarters. Peter shook it off at first, but when Fury mentioned his later parents and their involvement with him, his decision was changed immediately. Upon attending there, he meets up with fellow agents Phil Coulson, Melinda May, and Natasha Romanoff as he began to talk with Fury about his parents' mission in cracking down terrorist group HYDRA's secret bases, leading to their murders. Fury informed the webslinger that he had known Richard and Mary and he was there at the time of his birth, much to Peter's shock. Continuing on, Fury reveals that he was one who had informed Aunt May and Uncle Ben about the mission and wanted them to take care of Peter to keep him safe from the threats of HYDRA. This overwhelmed Peter as he tried to process the events that happened in his birth and how his aunt and uncle had kept it a secret from him. Just as he was going to tell Fury, the director has informed him that the HYDRA has returned and has made their attacks all over the world, starting with Britain and most of its soldiers have made their way to New York. Peter steps up in helping Fury save New York despite trying not to get into his emotions for the secrets being kept. Going through extensive training, Peter fought alongside S.H.I.E.L.D. against the HYDRA soldiers. Following the defeat of Red Skull, Peter gets another surprise of his life -- he meets a woman named Theresa "Terri" Parker who reveals to be his long-lost twin sister by Fury and Peter embraces her for the first time, not even believing that he had a twin sister.

The Chitauri Invasion

A month had passed since the battle against HYDRA and Peter was informed by Fury once again about Asguardian, Hela Freyrdottir the sister of Frigga and aunt of Thor Odinson had made an affiliation with The Other to retrieve the mystical Tesseract that contained the Space Stone which was part of the Infinity Stones. Peter was one of the candidates chosen to be involved in a project created by Fury called Operation Avengers where he along with other heroes come together and defend the planet. Upon the recruitment, Peter got to meet Captain America for the very first time and is shown to be a big fan of the Star-Spangled hero while the latter had shown his own admiration to the webslinger. However, the relationship between the newly-recruited heroes were far from sweet and Peter found his discomfort from that, resulting in him meeting English mutant, James Braddock aka Captain Britain who had joined before him, and due to their dislike to the others' ego barricading the team, they end up getting along with one another. However, when Coulson dies from fighting the Chitauri, Peter helped Fury in encouraging everyone in working together for the sake of the world and they defeated Hela and her Chitauri army. Since her defeat, Peter officially becomes part of the Avengers and he finds himself falling in love with James as he starts getting close to the mutant and the latter returning the same.

Infinity War

Three years had passed since the Chitauri invasion and his recruiting to the Avengers, Peter continued his career as the New York's #1 Webslinger, meeting fans from the children to politicians and law enforcement. Also, his relationship with James Braddock aka Captain Britain lasted the same time and one day they were seen at Central Park Zoo on a date where they both share a kiss until he was met by Doctor Stephen Strange and his partner Wong he also meets Fury along with Thor where they explain to him about Thanos coming to Earth to retrieve the Infinity Stones, particularly the the Time and Mind Stone. Thor told Peter that Thanos had taken the Space Stone that was sealed inside of the Tesseract and has murdered his brother Loki who tried to take it back. Just as Peter was going to say something, he, James and the rest noticed an ominous ring-like spacecraft floating in the air. The ship was the Q-Ship where Thanos' subordinate Ebony Maw and one of his children Cull Obsidian finds them. Peter suits up as Spider-Man and confronts the two invaders with James by his side but Maw abducts Strange forcing Peter and James to go after him. He hitches onto the Q-Ship where Maw didn't see him nor James get on and they managed to rescue Strange and soon after he was joined by the Guardians of the Galaxy.

Peter soon confronts Thanos as it was revealed that Titan was his home planet and major battle ensued between him and the Avengers. He tried to take the Infinity Gauntlet from Thanos but failed. After nearly killing him, Thanos succeeds in taking the Time Stone and teleporting to Earth. Once all of the Infinity Stones were completely retrieved, Thanos performed the Snap and Peter felt very weak as he reunites with James where he tried to hug the English mutant, but he turned into dust, much to James' horror and heartbreak, leaving him to cry out in agony, his powers destroying everything in his path before his powers was subdued by Strange, comforting the mourning Captain Britain as Peter was nothing but obsolete.

However, 5 years later, Peter was brought back to life thanks to the Avengers reversing the Snap by traveling to alternate timelines and reunites with James. Strange along with Wong brought all of the civilizations together including the mutant teams, the X-Men and the X-Strike who fell victim to the Snap. Steve and Bucky took lead for the fight of the Universe as, Peter and the rest of the heroes put their strength to protect the Nano Infinity Gauntlet created by Bruce Banner. Thanos gets in hold of the Gauntlet after overpowering new Avenger, Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel, but Steve stole all of the Stones forming another Gauntlet and he uses it to eliminate Thanos and his army, saving the universe but due the Gamma Radiation damaging him in and out, Steve was left fatally wounded. Peter mournfully says his goodbye to the Super-Soldier as he peacefully dies and all of the heroes pay their respect, including Bucky who was completely heartbroken. Peter attended the Captain's funeral as James stood by him, giving him the comfort as they watch the Avengers bury the fallen Avenger alongside his parents. The Stones were returned to their proper places and Peter accepts the offer to move to London with James, leaving New York City behind and the legacy and a new door open for a new webslinger to take his place.

The Future

A few years following the victory of the Infinity War and the death of Captain America, Peter made himself at home in London as James introduced the city to the webslinger, even though the Londoners knew he was and they welcomed him in open arms. He along with the mutant became an unbreakable dynamic duo and had taken on many villains and criminals who tried to terrorize the streets of London, earning lots of respect from the public and admiration from fans from children to the law enforcement and it hit Peter close to home. As his relationship with James got stronger, Peter was proposed by the English mutant, presenting him with a diamond engagement ring and he accepts his hand in marriage earning a huge applause from the crowd. The two married in Syon Park where everyone, including the remaining Avengers, the X-Men/Strike, and the agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. were present, congratulating them in tying the knot. Following their wedding and honeymoon, Peter continued his career as Spider-Man until he came to the time to retire from the hero business and start a family. He welcomed his first child, Jason "Jayce" Braddock through surrogacy. Later in the years, Jace soon develops his spider-based abilities like his father and he becomes Spider-Man UK, the next webslinger and defender of London.
