Early Years

Barbara "Bobbi" Morse (born May 1981) was born as the eldest child in the family. She had a firm but loving father who would routinely train her in the ways of hand-to-hand combat gained from his military years with his intentions of helping Bobbi protect herself as he knew how individualistic his daughter tends to be, much to her annoyance sometimes. However, Bobbi wouldn't realize until later on how vital and significant the knowledge and wisdom she has gained from her father at a young age. Following her interest in studying even after high school, Bobbi was permitted by her parents to live on her own for a while as an early adult, attending the Georgia Institute of Technology, wherein she specialized in biology and earned a PhD in her early twenties under her doctoral advisor, biochemist Dr. Wilma Calvin, whom Bobbi had grown to idolized as the doctor's intentions and experiments to use her scientific minds in helping life, especially people, get better seemed to align with hers'.

Unfortunately, Bobbi's reputation preceded her that she was baffled and broken to find out that her experiments with Calvin have been strengthening a group of economic terrorists, which Calvin was revealed to be their leader. She tried to recruit Bobbi under her wing and join the mad scientist in their plot against the government and several corporations, deeming that their actions on profiting of the War on Terror have been worsening since it threatens more and more lives. After seeing the lunacy in her mentor's eyes, Bobbi rejected the offer in spite of seeing her point, and was forced to fight back when she faced Wilma's son, Percy, who was coerced and powered by an addictive yet unstable super-strength serum his mother had concocted when she tried to replicate the Super-Soldier Serum. Bobbi fought him and other normal strength soldiers, resulting with her receiving several painful injuries, but Bobbi lasted long enough to alert the authorities, who came to Calvin's headquarters in the form of agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., a peacekeeping agency. The agents swept the scene and took down the final operations of Calvin's group, apprehending the mad biochemist with her subordinates and ended her scheme.

Despite getting badly beat up, a recovering Bobbi helped the biochemists cure Percy with an antidote, thanks to her expertise in biology. While the scientists were impressed with her genius mind, Bobbi felt guilty when she realized how her actions as a scientist have potentially harmed innocent lives, despite being constantly reminded that she didn't know she was being used. Looking for a way to escape for her remorse and find another way to live her life for a long while, Bobbi was given a thought when a S.H.I.E.L.D. consultant commended her for her brave fervor and selfless spirit as well as her decent combat tactics against the attackers earlier. As a result, Bobbi was given the chance to join their ranks and work with them, much to her surprise.

In the process of accepting her once-in-a-lifetime offer, Bobbi studied and also trained under S.H.I.E.L.D.'s provision for years, becoming loyal agent of the agency prior to the organization's significant dissolution in 2014, becoming a field agent under the training and guidance of high-ranking operative Melinda May, who saw the potential that Bobbi had with her spectacular skills in combat and espionage, earning the codename Mockingbird, mainly due to her habits to frequently mock or taunt her targets before or while she's battling and subduing them. Around the time, Bobbi would often fool around and eventually fell in love with fellow agent Lance Hunter, but their romance had unfortunately ended after Hunter intentionally left S.H.I.E.L.D. itself, in the guise of faking his own death during a mission at some point during the mid-2000s. She was later on recruited to be an Avenger in several specific missions, only a few weeks since its significant founding in the infamous Chitauri Invasion of the mischievous Loki Laufeyson in the late 2000s.

Besides a field operative, Bobbi also worked at S.H.I.E.L.D. for almost a few years as a biochemist, fully realizing and embracing the truth that she could still put her degree and scientific knowledge in good's name, moving on from her past with the unhinged Dr. Calvin, and in her later adult life during the mid to late 2000s, she met and formed a blossoming and more mature romantic relationship with her fellow agent and frequent partner named Clint Barton, known by the codename of Hawkeye, whom the latter eventually proposed to her by mid-2010s, and despite the times that their different missions had caused them to be separated from time to time each would mutually try their best to keep in touch with one another.

Rebirth of S.H.I.E.L.D.

At some point after S.H.I.E.L.D. momentarily fell apart during the Hydra Uprising, the organization's new director after Nick Fury, Phil Coulson had Bobbi go undercover at Hydra as their new chief of security but she kept this secret from her teammates. He also had her keep an eye on Jemma Simmons, another S.H.I.E.L.D. scientist working undercover as a member of Hydra. Once Simmons' cover was blown, Bobbi revealed her true loyalties and took Simmons to the roof of the building they worked at, where an extraction team was waiting to take them back to the Playground. When S.H.I.E.L.D. had to face the Inhumans of a secluded community known as the Afterlife, Bobbi was kidnapped and tortured by the rogue agents and notorious Hydra agents, Kara Palamas and Grant Ward.

She was eventually saved by her original team, now joined by her ex-boyfriend Lance Hunter, who has recently "come back from the dead" after revealing his unexpected survival and return to the agency. The reunion of the old lovers was inevitably awkward at first, especially since Clint would later meet and even have a heart-to-heart conversation with the two of them at the same time, but they eventually have come to a realization that the past was past, revealing they've already moved on to better things in life, the same thing with S.H.I.E.L.D. starting over under a new directorship after Hydra's short-lived uprising, which all of them were a crucial part of.

Mommy Bobbi

Bobbi and Clint 61615

One of Bobbi and Clint's first romantic and surprising adventures as a newly wedded couple

Almost two months after the following events of the brief but brutal Ultron Offensive in the cities of New York and approximately three weeks before the Ultimate War, Bobbi and her now-fiancé Clint, decided to finally elope instead of getting married through a wedding, since they've realized that their lives gonna be full of "unexpected crap that's gonna come in their way," now that their ranks have been extremely increased as agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. since after all, they are now officially a married couple.

Around late 2016, at some point after Civil War, the beloved couple eventually had conceived their first two children, the twins Cooper and Nicole, but they have also seeded two more children in the following years: Nicole around 2018, and their youngest Jack around 2020, whom they had raised with Bobbi's mother Susan — and often assisted by her younger brother Benjamin along with the ocassional visits of her father Zachary — in their homestead which was located in the rural community, where they could live off the grid to avoid disturbances, scandals, and controversies among the face of the public eye and most of the authorities. Despite this, Clint and Bobbi would still continue their careers, both as Hawkeye and as Mockingbird respectively and as agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and members of the Avengers, keeping the country and the entire world safe from every possible threats coming upon their way, and their entire family, which would be the couple's greatest responsibility aside from being agents of peace.
