Felicia Hardy's history is very similar to the one of her mainline counterpart, but instead of her relationship with Spider-Man falling apart, the two remained together and Felicia was even convinced by Peter to abandon her life as a thief as the two grew closer to each other and began fighting crime together as a dynamic duo, with Felicia also participating in several of Peter's missions with the Avengers. They two also formed, along with other street-based vigilantes, like Daredevil, Luke Cage, Iron Fist and Moon Knight, the Defenders in order to help protect the streets of New York City from the hands of the New York's most dangerous threats. In the meantime, Felicia started working as a private investigator, which, in the following years, prompted her to create her own private investigation business. Peter eventually proposed to Felicia and, as she accepted, the two became officially engaged. Some time later, Felicia also found out that she was pregnant with Peter's child and, as they found out it was a boy, they decided to name him Benjamin Walter Parker, in honor of Felicia's father and Peter's uncle. But, just as things were looking up for the two, Knull and his army of symbiotes invaded earth. During the invasion, several heroes perished and it looked like the war was lost, but Peter, now bonded with Enigma Force, managed to defeat Knull and destroy all the symbiotes, though sacrificing himself in the process. In his last moments, with Felicia at his side, he urged her to promise him to have their son's inherited spider-powers removed by Doctor Strange. Peter didn't want his son to endure the same trials and tribulations that he had faced as Spider-Man. He wanted his son to have a chance at a normal life, free from the weight of responsibility and constant danger. Several hours later, Felicia gave birth to her son and, some time after that, Doctor Strange removed his inherited powers via a spell. What Felicia didn't know though, was that the spell only suppressed Ben's powers, but didn't actually remove them, as Strange knew that kid was supposed to have a big role in saving the earth from a devastating invasion in the future.
