Plot[]

When the Negative Zone begins to leak into our reality, the Fantastic Four make it their responsibility to defeat Annihilus before he can claim dominion over both worlds. Meanwhile, unbeknownst to them, their daughter from the future, Valeria, is working alongside Doctor Doom behind the scenes to destabilize the Negative Zone's molecular structure.

  • Veteran The Office actors Ellie Kemper and Rainn Wilson make their MCU debuts in this film as Darla Deering and Simon Utrecht, respectively.
  • Simon Utrecht is traditionally a Hulk villain known as Vector, but he makes an appearance in this film as a businessman who is trying to run the Fantastic Four into bankruptcy.
  • This film hints at Johnny Storm being bisexual, with Darla Deering and Wyatt Wingfoot competing for his affections.
  • Denis Villeneuve did not return to direct this film, and was replaced with Jennifer Phang.
  • The post-credits scene teases the existence of Terrigen, seemingly revamping the origin of the Inhumans, and erasing the much-maligned IMAX series from MCU canon.
