Early Years[]
Faiza Hussain (born May, 1978) was the only child and daughter born to Pakistani-born physician couple doctors Yusuf and Farida Hussain. Who fled their home country for England during their youth, in search of a better life. Which they found. This in turn allowed Faiza to grow up without the same hardships her parents had endured. Though she endured many of her own. Especially racial discrimination from the other kids. Though Faiza refused to let this get to her and pushed on, since she dreamed of one day becoming a doctor like her parents.
Though Faiza felt her plans would be derailed after she discovered she was a mutant upon entering puberty. But her worries were for not. As her parents still loved her all the same. In fact they even helped Faiza master her new powers, which they all realized were perfectly suited for an aspiring doctor like her. With that Faiza made another goal to debut as one of the world's first openly mutant doctors. But in rhe wake of the first battle between the mutant groups known as the X-Men and the Brotherhood of Mutants, as well as the increased discrimination people like her and her family faced in the wake of the September 11th attacks Faiza decided against declaring herself a mutant to the world. She then simply went back to her original goal of becoming of a,doctor. Which she eventually did, graduating from medical school with full honors.
Sword In The Stone[]
Though shortly after graduating medical school Faiza began to have strange dreams. Ones which eventually led her to a cave, where she encountered a group of agents from the E.D.I. led by then agent Dane Whitman, who has come to the cave to retrieve the mythological weapon and sword known as Excalibur. However as Dane and his fellow agents each tried to remove the sword from the stone it was embedded in they failed. Until eventually Faiza requested if she could try. Since she felt the sword was calling to her. Dane allowing this Faiza took her shot and found herself, along with the agents of the Initiative, completely surprised when Faiza was able to pull Excalibur from the stone. After which the sword itself revealed the truth to her was to why this was possible. Because she was in fact a distant relative, and direct descendant, of King Arthur himself, who Excalibur had chosen to call out to for it had selected her as its new wielder. Faced with this revelation Faiza decided to wield the blade, as well as join the ranks of the E.D.I., taking on the codename Excalibur for herself.

Homo Superior Physiology: Faiza is an Omega-level mutant. She has the power to disassemble anything, including people, into their component parts, manipulate them on an atomic level, and reassemble them. While taking people apart, she can take their limbs, organs, and bones apart, then reassemble them, putting them back together, and then restore it to its original condition. This is possible due to the fact that she innately knows the composition of anything she affects with her powers. Faiza is also capable of focusing on certain areas in particular. Those affected by Faiza's power remain conscious and able to talk throughout. She can affect multiple targets simultaneously, but the more objects she attempts to manipulate, the greater the concentration is required from her. When using her powers on living beings, the target is rendered immobile until she allows them to move. Faiza finds it easier to affect shape-shifters, such as Skrulls, but more difficult to affect magic-based beings.
Paralysis: Faiza can also immobilize multiple people at once, without disassembling them. The effect lasts until Faiza wills otherwise.
Healing: Faiza has the ability to heal the wounds of others.

- Faiza is a massive fan of the suphero community, especially Britih superheroes. So much so she has even created a personal list of heroes habits, strengths, and weaknesses.
- Faiza is an avid fanfiction writer. Whose username is FHlovesHeroesForever.
- Faiza was given her alias Excalibur by Pete Wisdom.
- After obtaining Excalibur Faiza found she had a small talent for magic and learned several spells from her fellow E.D.I. agents who practiced the Mystic Arts, along with some training from the Masters of the Mystic Arts.
- Faiza is one of the only doctors in the world who is an expert in treating super humans and members of the superhuman community.
