Erik Maximoff, better known as the mutant terrorist Magneto, is the founder of the Brotherhood of Supremacy and the father of mutant twins Wanda and Pietro. After awakening En Sabah Nur, he had an encounter with the new X-Men, and is still at large. Sometime in the past he confronted Charles Xavier and paralyzed him by driving a metal spike into his back.
