Abomination

Early Years

Emil Blonsky was born in Russia and raised in England, where he eventually joined the Royal Marines of the British Armed Forces, and was swiftly promoted to the rank of Captain. Despite receiving an incredible track record, Blonsky refused to be promoted to Colonel, claiming that he wanted to be a formidable fighter for as long as he could. Despite leaving the late 20s into his early 30s, Blonsky refused to allow his body to slow down, and continued to be considered one of the most formidable fighters in the Armed Forces. He and his team were eventually loaned to General Thaddeus Ross in his efforts to capture Bruce Banner better known as Hulk.

Becoming an "Abomination"

After failing the mission, Blonsky was injected with a small dose of the mothballed original Super Soldier Serum and later was injected with Bruce Banner's blood causing him to transform into the Hulk-sized Abomination. The Abomination proceeded to go on a rampage in Harlem until he was defeated by Hulk and captured by the United States Armed Forces.

Taken Custody of S.H.I.E.L.D.

As the director of S.H.I.E.L.D., former Colonel Nick Fury's superiors wanted Blonsky recruited into the Avengers Initiative due to his military record and status as a war hero. They planned to blame all the destruction he caused in Harlem on the Hulk, and ordered Fury to ask General Ross to release him into S.H.I.E.L.D.'s custody. Instead, Fury tasked Agent Coulson to figure out a way to follow orders, yet ensure that Blonsky would remain imprisoned. Agent James Sitwell urged the reluctant Coulson to send Tony Stark to meet with Ross and inadvertently sabotage the deal, thereby ensuring that Blonsky remained in the General's custody and off the Avengers for good. Stark was successful in annoying the General so much that it caused Blonsky to remain imprisoned. It was later revealed that Blonsky had been transferred to a cryogenic cell in Barrow, Alaska, now in S.H.I.E.L.D.'s custody.

Freed and Recruited by Hydra

During the events of Hydra Uprising, Blonsky's prison facility was suddenly been infiltrated by Hydra forces and his cryo-cell was eventually been destroyed, waking Blonsky from cryogenic hibernation. As a result, Blonsky rages out and attacks every soldier in the facility before getting confronted by Baron von Strucker and convinces him to join their organization since they both have the same ideologies. Blonsky agrees to join and is now an agent of Hydra so he could seek revenge against Banner, Ross, and everyone else who had ruined his life that caused him to turn into a fearsome monster.

The Hunt of the Hulks

Even after the globally-tragic events of Ultimate War, the Abomination remained his loyalty to Hydra as one of its strongest operatives to date, believing that he no longer has a life outside the terrorist agency but keep being a monster. By the early 2020s, a few months after the Mad Titan Thanos' cosmic snap was reversed and the universe was save from his genocide and recreation, Abomination led his own division of super-soldiers to hunt every Gamma mutate, or "Hulked-out" individual in his words, which they could find for Hydra's scientists in exchange of making him both truly invulnerable and help the scientists find a way to revert him back into human form, yet still be able to transform into his monstrous form at will, just like his undying archnemesis Hulk.

Tracking down two of his main targets, Blonsky brawled with both the government agent Red Hulk along with the second Abomination, the Liberator Chang Lam, a fight which he pulled through and won thanks to the combination of his combat skills and a temporary enhancement serum developed and given to him by Hydra, even going through brutal measures of breaking a few of the Red Hulk's limbs and pulling the arms of his illegitimate successor, practically immobilizing and amputating them respectively before capturing them into one of Hydra's secret facilities, since Blonsky needed different healthy samples of DNA from each of the Hulks as his scientists have requested him to collect for his goal to be human again and be the Abomination at the same time. Days followed, and Blonsky set his new targets: A-Bomb and the Hulk himself, whom Blonsky was fortunate to knock out and subdue due to his exhausted state as Banner. Unfortunate for him, the experimentation of was proven to be rushed and short-lived thanks to the intervention of the Tremendous Three, a momentary alliance consisting of She-Hulk, The Thing, and Betty Ross, along with the assistance of young genius Amadeus Cho, who greatly helped them locate the hidden Hydra laboratory to rescue Blonsky's subjects.

Abomination Final Form 61615

A fight broke out within the facility as both sides clash, while the rest freed the subjects from the clutches of mad geniuses who were eager to agonizingly extract every single organ of their body to help Blonsky's goal. In the end of the clash, one of the scientists were able to escape the heroes' clutches and give the Abomination his serum, proving that his goal was still successful. Ingesting the new formula into his system, the serum seemed to have worked as he and every one witnesses the Abomination return into Blonsky for the first time in his life since becoming the irreversible monster. Growing impatient with vengeance burning inside him, Ross (who was in his human form) took a pistol and shot Blonsky for his unforgivable crimes in the past. Blonsky was shot repeatedly in the chest, before scoffing at his former ally's attempt since he knew that the serum also granted him the ability to transform back into the Abomination, which he immediately does afterwards to surely heal from the bullet wounds with his gamma mutated form.

However, little did Blonsky realize, the serum had a few lethal side-effects which the scientists were too late to warn him about, and one of it was that Blonsky should not immediately transform after reverting back into human form, as his body won't handle the rapid changes of his body back and forth unlike the Hulk could due to the immense gamma rays flowing within his normal body. As Blonsky slowly grows in a larger, more bloated size of the Abomination, the latter begins to feel unwell as every bone and every muscle in his body collapses and ruptures respectively, inevitably blowing up into smithereens, dead. His allies and enemies alike could only watch in horror and disgust while chunks of his body fly out everywhere, before cleaning up the situation with S.H.I.E.L.D.'s arrival at the scene to rescue the heroes and arrest the fragment of Hydra agents & scientists.

Powers

Artificially Enhanced Physiology: As a super-soldier, he was shown to have similar powers to those of Captain America, since he received a similar version of the serum. But the serum left some side effects making him overly aggressive, and deforming his vertebral column. He obtained more power after injecting a synthetic version of Banner's blood, becoming a Hulk-like humanoid.
