Earth-97 aka "Anthroverse", New-Counter Earth, and New Man (Newman) Earth is an alternate reality of Earth-616 with a world and universe inhabited by Anthropomorphic

(Beast or Otherwise) characters with no homo sapiens "humans" have ever existed though not counting Primates. This reality follows the same events as 616 would but with an alternate change to the Evolution of the inhabitants of Earth-97.


The Characters of the universe will mostly follow and be similar to Earth-616's but most will be alternate and fusion of Larval Earth (Earth-8311) and Unlimited Counter-Earth (Earth-751263). It is also the home to an alternate Spider-Man named Man-Spider; an anthropomorphic spider and Spider-Family. Also, the X-Bugs will have more specific arthropods to the characters and will involve other animals besides insects and bugs. }}


History[]

Pre-History - The Celestial Beginning []

Since the dawn of time, years before the "Earth" became the Earth, much like any universe that began with a big bang that created the events of the universe itself but most wonder how did the big bang even come to be. The greatest mystery was created by no other than a race of space gods called the Celestials along with the factions "The Eternals " and "The Deviants" ruled by one individual; Galactus before he became "The Great Devour". These Space Gods were creators, analyzers, testers, observers, and experimenters wanting to see life thrive into something good or bad or even neutral. The ones were responsible for Earth-7000, Earth-97, and the X-Gene formula mutation by the one called "Apocalypse" using the power of their own called the Infinity Gems using a device called the Infinite Gauntlet to control, shape, and protect the universe.

The Celestial War[]

Of course, there were others that wanted to use this power to shape the universe to their own or destroy it. While the Celestials were using the devices to create worlds and life around the universe, he was destroying and devouring worlds behind their backs. Soon enough an Eternal found about his devious plans and using the Deviants to help with his devious plans. The Eternals wouldn't stand for it and went to war with Galactus and the Deviants until one individual used the Infinite Gauntlet to end the war by forcing the gems into spawning different realities altogether such as Earth-7000 and Earth-97 and separating the Celestials from the Eternals and Deviants, ripping Galactus including all of the Celestials into anthropomorphic versions of themselves. The reality gem created a reality of the anthro universe of no signs of humanoid species, creating the New Men Earth. Once the war was over, The Eternals referred Earth-97's universe as New Man or Animen (Animal-Men) since they weren't homo sapiens or even humanoid but full anthropomorphic beings.

Pre-Historic Earth[]

Primitive Animen - Rise of the Beastials[]

A million years after the Celestial War, life was slowly creating and thriving in the Universe as the Stones were set to do. New Man Earth begins the same way as many other similar Earth's as well with the Dinosaurs. The Dinosaurs are what called the first Cave Men before the Primates existed called the "Beastials". Devil-Beasts and Demon Dinosaurs were born because of being tampered by Apocalypse with his X-Gene formula, some didn't survive the X-Gene experiments but most did becoming anthro mutated reptilian lizardmen.

Dawn of Animen - Survival of the Fittest[]

Soon after the Dinosaurs died out, It wasn't long before other species begin to rise such as Mammoths and Primates as the primitive species on the New Man Earth along with the surviving lizardmen. Soon enough, curiosity was developed into them that began hunting, romance, tribes, and eventually war. Exactly what Apocalypse wanted from them and even managed to carry over mutated gene anthros the less primitive Animen and making them super-powered Animen, setting the motion for future generations of X-Gene Newman naming them "Ani-Mutants".

Holy Animen - Gods Witness/Animen to Newman[]

The Ani-mutants truly took motion into the New Man Earth as the Animen praise to Gods, Lords, and Masters of the Earth creating their religions and massive civilizations in their names. With their newfound gods and religions, they were adapted to "Newman" through their evolution and adaptation of culture and life.

Medival Animen - Knights of Wundagore: The Round Table[]

Time continued to thrive into Newman Earth, reaching the time of knights and kingdoms and when evil truly began to grow in the Kingdom Wundagore. The "Masters of Earth"; Newman with X-Gene Power abilities that believe they should rule the Earth and maybe even the universe. Then there are those that must stand up for the defenseless and weak forming the "The Knights of Wundagore" the equivalent of the Knights round table to do battle and protect all that is good.

Pre-Modern - Newman Age[]

Newman Earth continues to thrive into the technological age when the first steam-powered machines were created by the Great Grandfather of Tony Stark with his secret project of the first "Steel Dog". Even with all of the new technology invented, it wouldn't be long before wanting to use the tech for World Domination such as Hydra behind the German Army.
