History

Earth-61712.37 is an alternate timeline that branched off from the present reality, Earth-61712. This reality's history mirrors the present, right until the timeline's point of divergence sparked with Thanos the Overlord's Supreme War tragically ending with a drastically different outcome, in which a savage and unhesitant Nighthawk had killed Thanos in his own bedroom, abandoning his moral code to spare an enemy for the very last time. This powerful and unbelievable action of the Squadron Supreme's nocturnal vigilante would've sparked a far worse conflict than what Thanos had already triggered. Much to the grief and outrage of Thanos' brother Eros, the latter (who was also slowly manipulated by Death herself just as she manipulated his brother) declared a "war against the entire universe" to avenge his late little brother.
