History

Earth-61712, also known as the Supreme Universe is an alternate reality that is home to the superhero team, the Squadron Supreme. Earth-61712 is almost similar to Earth-61615, the only difference is that this Earth's history and geography is vastly different than the original Earth's and its diverse technologies are perhaps a millennium more advanced than the prime reality, with most of its superpower nations having accomplished and improved far greater civilizations dating back as far as the 20th century. However, in spite of the drastic difference in the history of this Earth, the dating system in this reality remains more or less the same, as the latest decade in the modern era is also estimated to be in the late 2020s.

This universe was once thought to be a normal reality, like any other designated reality in the multiverse. However, its origin and nature was later revealed to be something more complicated, with the multiversal extraterrestrial race known as the Builders classifying this reality as an "artificial universe". Moreover, it was further revealed that a mysterious being called the "Lord of the White Light" was the one who created this reality, along with hundreds of newer realms in the greater multiverse, through unorthodox means and not of a 'naturally caused' Big Bang.
