HistoryEdit

In the beginning

In the beginning, some 13.7 billion years ago, the planet Taa is the only physical object in existence. It utilizes the only light source as a sun to provide energy. Eventually, the technologically enhanced inhabitants learn that a large explosion will occur. The Chancellor of Taa proposes a small number of people, both male and female, to be placed into a shuttle and be teleported away from the explosion in order to preserve their kind. Eventually, the explosion does occur, but the survivors on the shuttle are mutated into a collective life being made entirely of pure cosmic energy. This being eventually forms itself into the world devouring god known as Galactus, traveling aimlessly across the universe to feast on the life energy of planets, inhabited or not.

Kree-Skrull Incursions

Millions of years later, the Kree and Skrull races evolve on their own worlds, Hala and Skrullos, respectively. Eventually, during an expedition by the Kree to mine minerals, they come into contact with a Skrull warship, which is trying to mine the same minerals as the opposing race, eventually leading to the first Kree-Skrull incursions. These battles would go on for many years, eventually ending with the two races coming to an uneasy truce with one another, although through intergalactic espionage and terrorism, the incursions would continue, and eventually lead up to the eruption of the original Kree-Skrull War.

Galactus vs. Gigamoth: The Battle for Earth

Galactus first lands on Earth during the age of the dinosaurs, killing most life in North America before he begins consuming it's life energy. The Earth, in turn, creates Gigamoth in order to fend off Galactus. The two engage in an epic battle which wipes out many of the dinosaurs, although some survive, as the Gojirasaurus maximus clan species escapes the great extinction. In the end, Galactus retreats from Earth after being overpowered by Gigamoth, who, in turn, dissolves into millions of energy spores after suffering major injuries. These spores create the first cases of, albeit dormant, superhuman genes in early primates, sparking the creation of meta-humans.

The Seatopian-Atlantean War

The Seatopians, an underground race of people residing underneath Mount Mihara near Japan, come into contact with the Atlanteans near North America, mainly in the area which would become New York City, sparking the Seatopian-Atlantean War. Eventually, the war would come to an end when the Seatopians admit defeat and surrender to Atlantean forces near the Bermuda Triangle.

The Inhumans are Born

Fearful of the Skrulls' growing power, the Kree land on Earth and begin experimenting with primitive humans, unlocking the superhuman gene which resides within them from Gigamoth's spores in order to turn them into last resort weapons should the Skrulls break the truce. The process, in turn, creates the first family of Inhumans. After many years of experimentation, the Kree place the original Inhumans within cryogenic stasis underneath the Earth's surface until modern times.

Reawakening and Resettlement

The original Inhumans reawaken after millions of years of dormancy. Eventually, they set up a kingdom in the snowy regions of Norway, all headed under the leadership of Black Bolt and queen Medusa, who, if the rumors are true, were the first humans the Kree experimented on. The Inhumans would eventually build their own city, Attilan, after they were cast out by tribes of normal humans due to their strange powers.

The Coming of the Apocalypse

The first mutant to ever be born, En Sabah Nur, is discovered in the Arabian Desert by a group of Nomads. The leader believes the infant to be destined for greatness, due to the black markings on his grey skin. Over the next several years, En is trained in the art of war by his adopted father, who seeks to make En into the greatest warrior ever born. Eventually, however, En's father would be killed during a battle in Egypt with the first Dynasty of the country. There, the dying man told En of secret alien technology, really a Kree warship that had landed on Earth many years before, that the Emperor used to vastly grow his empire. En eventually used this technology to empower and improve his own molecular DNA structure, transforming himself into a shapeshifting, telekinetic cyborg with vast intelligence. Overthrowing the Emperor, as well as transforming him into an eternal slave made of organic stone, En assumed the name of Apocalypse, conquering several other kingdoms for years to come and igniting wars amongst others while living by the philosophy that only the strongest would survive. Eventually, Apocalypse would freeze himself with cryogenic technology in order to wait for an era when more mutants would arise.

The Kree-Inhuman War=

The Inhumans deal with the return of the Kree, who had sensed their reawakening. This sparks a short-lived battle known as the Territorial Crossing or the Kree-Inhuman War. Attilan would eventually become a casualty in the midst of this war, prompting the Inhumans to relocate their city. Eventually, Black Bolt single-handedly bests the Kree commander and forces the Kree forces into retreat, winning the war.

The Legend of Gojira

The legend of Gojira begins on Odo Island near Japan some 500 years before modern times. The legend is based upon sightings of a monster in the Southern Pacific who sank their fishers and devoured girls as part of a ritual.

World War II

1942

On December 7th, the Japanese forces attack Pearl Harbor in Hawaii. This results in the United States entering World War II and declaring war on Japan, leading to it’s induction into the Allied forces. 1943 Edit

Steve Rogers, a frail, yet determined, young man from Brooklyn, New York, signs on for Project: Rebirth in order to create the ultimate soldier. Rogers is eventually injected with the Super-Soldier Serum by Doctor Abraham Erskine, turning Rogers into the first modern superhuman. However, Erskine is killed by an assassin sent by the Nazi terrorist, the Red Skull. Rogers is then given a shield made of an indestructible metal known as vibranium and a uniform modeled after the American flag and christened under the codename of Captain America.

On October 12th, the Howling Commandos, led by Jack Fury and Captain America, are assigned to their first mission in Norway in order to protect a supply bridge from advancing Nazi forces on the horizon. The battle eventually ends when Captain America detonated a series of underground mines around the security barrier, forcing the Nazis to flee.

1944

On April 7th, the Howling Commandos intercepted a Nazi transport rig near Siberia. The Commandos managed to defeat the Nazi forces, although at the cost of Captain America's friend Lt. James Barnes' life.

On June 6th, D-Day began. Allied forces began to take hold of Germany, with Captain America leading the soldiers towards Adolf Hitler’s location. However, Hitler would commit suicide along with his wife in order to ensure that they weren’t arrested.

1945

Captain America and the Howling Commandos advanced on the final Nazi stronghold, northeast of the Russian boarder in order to arrest the Red Skull. The Red Skull, unwilling to face a prison sentence, activates a prototype nuclear missile aimed for Brooklyn and flees. Captain America boards the missile and manages to disable the engine, thus saving New York City, although at the cost of him being thrown into the Atlantic Ocean for 40 years in a state of suspended animation. On July 16th, the first atomic bomb, Trinity, is tested in Jornada del Muerto, just northwest of the city of Socorro, New Mexico. This was the kickstart to the Atomic Age. Between August 6th and August 9th, the atomic bombs designated as Little Boy and Fat Man are dropped on the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, killing approximately 300,000 people in it’s wake. On September 2nd, Japan, fearful of being subject to constant atomic bombing, surrenders to the Allied forces on the USS Missouri in Tokyo Bay, officially ending World War II.

The Awakening of Godzilla

On March 1st , 1954, the Castle Bravo hydrogen/nuclear test is conducted in the Bikini Atoll, resulting in a Japanese fishing freighter becoming irradiated by the blast. The blast also awakens and mutates a young member of the Gojirasaurus maximus clan into a giant monster.

Not too long afterwards, a series of mysterious fishing disasters off the coast of Japan begins. The government initially believes it to be underwater landmines left over from World War II, but the sightings of massive dorsal plates in the Pacific leads the public to believe otherwise. One week later, the atomic monster known as Godzilla makes it's first appearance after making landfall on Odo Island. The surviving inhabitants then tell of it's ancient legend to the Japanese government. The following day, the J.S.D.F. begins actively bombing the Greater Pacific Waters near the coast of Osaka in an attempt to destroy Godzilla. The day after that, Godzilla makes landfall in Tokyo and engages the J.S.D.F. in an attack known as Operation: Firestorm. Godzilla pushes through the government's forces with ease and lays waste to the city before retreating to the ocean. About 2,000,000 lives were taken in the attack. About 3 days later, Doctor Serizawa, a renowned Japanese scientist, reveals a special oxygen-dissolving formula he created to the government. The government then decides to use the "Oxygen Destroyer" against Godzilla. The weapon is placed in Tokyo Bay, where the beast is resting, and is detonated. The chemicals finally kill Godzilla and revert his body to a skeleton. Serizawa, however, commits suicide during the detonation, fearful that the Oxygen Destroyer could be used as a weapon more powerful than an atomic bomb.

The Age of Heroes

After years of dormancy, in 1985, the superhuman community sees a massive resurgence in the United States, primarily in New York City. Captain America is also dug up and reintroduced to the world after a 40 year coma by the international anti-terrorist agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D. and reintroduced to the world. Notable heroes that were born during this generation were the Fantastic Four, Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, Iron Man, the X-Men, Daredevil, Thor, Ant-Man, the Wasp, and the Hulk. Most of the heroes took up residence in New York City, while the Hulk often wandered around the deserts of New Mexico.

A Day Like No Other

When Thor's father, Odin, warned his son about a coming crisis to Earth, Thor tries to alert everyone about what's to come, although many don't believe him. The ones who do, however, are all in the superhuman community. These heroes include Iron Man, Ant-Man, Wasp, and a visiting Hulk. Iron Man opts to lead the group into battle, which turns out to be against Thor's brother, the God of Mischief Loki, who has summoned an army of Frost Giants from Asgard in order to subjugate and conquer the Earth, starting with New York City. Steve Rogers, on account from S.H.I.E.L.D., takes up the mantle and responsibility of Captain America once more and joins the other heroes in battle against the Frost Giants. In the midst of the battle, however, S.H.I.E.L.D.'s maximum security prison, the Vault, loses power, causing all of New York's supervillains to escape into the world, among them being Magneto, Doctor Octopus, and Baron Mordo. Eventually, Loki is forced to flee when his army of Frost Giants are defeated by the 6 united heroes. Days later, Tony Stark, the armored hero Iron Man, summons the rest of the heroes together in order to form a team of heroes that would take on the threats that no one else could even touch. Captain America then expresses his belief that if you can't protect something worth value, you would ensure that you would avenge it. Thus, Earth's Mightiest Heroes came to be.

Acts of Vengeance

Much can happen in less than a year. By the time 1985 came to an end, many of the world's currently imprisoned supervillains were at it again. Several new groups, such as Doctor Octopus' Sinister Six and Baron Zemo's Masters of Evil, were being formed in New York. Plots to destroy the world's superheroes began to circulate across the supervillain grapevine. The Sinister Six were the first to strike in their plot to destroy Spider-Man, quickly followed by the Masters of Evil's attack on Avengers Mansion. However, these groups were soon thwarted by the might of their enemies.

The Thanos Imperative

When the death-worshipping demigod Thanos embarked on a search for the fabled Infinity Gauntlet, he incurred the wrath of many of the universe's greatest heroes, such as Adam Worlock and Captain Marvel, but to no avail. Thanos eventually gained the Infinity Gauntlet and Stones before wiping out half of the galaxy's population and causing untold destruction across the cosmos.
