For unknown reasons, the Skrulls started the Secret Invasion on Earth. This Skrull posed as ice-themed supervillain, Blizzard. He was given orders to capture the U.S. President. However he was found out by the Taskmaster. He was incapacitated in the fight with him, Spider-Man, Wolverine, the Hulk, Deadpool once he reached the White House.
