History
Project T.A.H.I.T.I.
Dr. Goodman was assigned to Project T.A.H.I.T.I. as the tests with the GH.325 being conducted at the Guest House seemed to drive the patients insane. Phil Coulson, agent in charge of the Project, asked Dr. Goodman to stop the testing; however, she suggested an alternative method, one that could allow the patients to live normal lives again.
Goodman suggested that the memories of the patients should be replaced, allowing the patients to forget about the memories that were being imprinted onto them, due to the DNA of the G.H. being alien. Dr. Goodman then personally conducted the memory replacement procedure using the Memory Overwriting Machine on all six patients including Cameron Klein.
Resurrection of Phil Coulson
Nick Fury decided to resurrect Phil Coulson, subjecting Coulson to the procedures developed as part of Project T.A.H.I.T.I. to do it. In order to overcome the psychological side effects of the drugs and procedures, Dr. Goodman and Dr. Streiten erased Coulson's memories about the whole process, including all memories about his time leading Project T.A.H.I.T.I.
In Coulson's memories, Goodman transformed now into Karine, a physical therapist that treated him during his recovery period in the island of Tahiti.
