Backstory[]
A cosmic being, Cosmid Boltus was born near the beginning of time. Gifted with the power to conjure and control cosmic winds, storms, and lightning, Cosbolt searched through the galaxy for a suitable planet to protect. Righteous but haughty, Cosmid would only accept the finest planet to protect. When he stumbled upon Earth, he decided it was good enough. But the Avengers told him that Earth already had enough heroes. Cosbolt became angered and nearly destroyed Manhattan, but came to his senses and repaired the damage. After that he made residence on Mars, where he met Martians. Though he protected Mars, he kept an eye on the Earth.
