Early Life
Hawkeye's life before he became the hero archer started in the cold city of Buffalo, New York. Barton was born Jack-Russell Clifton Renner Barton and he and his fraternal twin brother, Bernard Barton lived in a middle-class neighborhood where his mother, Edith Barton was a schoolteacher and his father ran a law firm. However, by the time Barton was nine years old, his parents were out for dinner to celebrate their wedding anniversary but they were struck by a drunk driver, killing them instantly. Barton and his brother were put in foster care where he eventually leaves the system, separating from Bernard and heading for the streets where he begun a life for survival without the care of his parents.
