Clay Quartermain is a high-ranking pilot in SHIELD, he was recruited by Nicola Fury as he served alongside her in Afghanistan. He is known for having good luck and quick-wits, he has been noted by several co-workers to be extremely arrogant and difficult to work with, but a good person at heart. He serves as a help for the superteams such as Avengers and the Thunderbolts, helping the members who can't fly to get around. His main partner is Carol Danvers.
