Clarice Ferguson was born in the Bahamas, only to be abducted by Apocalypse's forces, who sought to train her to become a killing machine. However, when she was 13-years-old, she was liberated by the X-Men, and was taken under the wing of Sabretooth, who taught her how to defend herself, and her fellow teammates taught her compassion.
