History
Early Life
Cassie is the daughter of Scott Lang and Peggy Rae. When Cassie was young her parents seperated and that left her with her father more often then not. Her father had been Ant-Man for around 3 or 4 years before Cassie was born. When she was born she was had a congenital heart defect and Scott had used the Ant-Man equipment to shrink down and save her life.
it was that and her constant exposure to Pym Particles that is believed to have given her powers. Eventually before Ultron she had been with her mother in Miami Florida and she was there when Ultron attacked.
She had survived as had many other children and was thrown into the foster system where most people weho had lost their parents ended up. They were lucky enough to never encounter Ultron again, but as Cassie got older she had gotten kicked out of foster homes and orphanages left and right.
Eventually Pym had found her when her powers manifested, she had shrunked to the size of a flea and told Pym she hadn't meant to do it. Pym managed to get her to turn back by calming her down and then he explained to her that she was like him. When she realized that she begged Pym to teach her what he knew and explained that she wanted to become a Superhero.
Pym eventually agreed set her up somewhere safe own her own in New York and sent her to school. And when the time came he and the other Avengers would contact her to help her control her powers. Pym let her know that it was her insistence that had given them the idea to formulate the Avengers Academy in the first place. [1]
Annihilation
Cassie, Dani and May had been in training when the Avengers got the alert that a robot was attacking. Despite the fact that they hadn't been training for very long. A split decision was made by Captain America and allowed them to come but only if they stayed as backup, which meant they had to stay in the Quinjet.
It didn't matter as the Avengers quickly learned the robot could duplicate their powers and so they sent the recruits away in the hopes that Super-Adaptoid wouldn't be able to replicate their abilites.
Cassie was with the Danielle and May the other two Academy members when The Avengers, Jim Hammond, and Valeria Richards went to the meeting room in the mansion. They were surprisngly included in the meeting and Jim and Valeria began to explain that the Adaptoid had actually come from the Negative Zone a new dimension that Valeria had discovered.
At the mention of that the three newbies were sent out as this was considered to be above their paygrade, but eventually the next day there was a second meeting on the same subject and they were allowed in.
As they learned of the situation Dani spoke and shocked the Avengers saying her opinion confidently, and telling them they needed to go to the Negative Zone. Spider-Girl cut in as well and agreed with Dani saying it was Superhero 101 and they had to go.
Cassie had been the one to say what everyone was thinking, asking what everyone's current opinion on the situation was, and then telling them the only reason they weren't already in the Negative Zone was because they were waiting for James to make a decision. She told James he had to make a decision because everyone is going to agree with his choice.
Eventually this helped James say what he wanted too and the mission to the Negative Zone began. The group consisting of Torunn, Riri, Jim, Valeria, and Pym left that same day and came back in minutes explaining to everyone the time difference. They had spent a week there, but it was only 2 minutes on Earth.
This set up new plans to get ready to fight Annihilus in one week.
During the week Cassie, Dani, May, James, Francis, and Torunn had an encounter with Lyra, Bruce's daughter from the 23rd century. They fought her and lost and were doubly surprised when her mission was seemingly to get a kiss from James. Eventually everything cleared up between the groups and she joined them in their fight against Annihilius,
Cassie was expected to be apart of the Earth's ground forces and when Annihilus came Cassie fought as Stature with everyone else. Eventually Annihilus was defeated and the day was saved.
However on this day James also quit being Captain America and gave the title to Dani. During this time Cassie, Dani and May along with the newcomers Lyra and Robbie were all promoted to the main squad officially becoming Avengers. It was believed that since they fought in that war and survived that was good enough for them to become apart of the group.[2] [3] [4][5]
Powers and Abilities
Powers
Pym Particles: Cassie was born as a normal human without any superpowers, but through intentional, repeated exposure to Pym Particles, she gained the following abilities:
Size Reduction: Cassie possessed the power to reduce herself to the size of an ant, approximately one-half inch in height. It's possible she might be able to shrink even further if the Microverse theory is correct.
Size Addition: Cassie possessed the power to increase size to gigantic heights, requiring the rapid acquisition of body mass (presumably from an extradimensional source). This extra mass fortifies all of her cellular tissue, including her bones and muscles, enabling her to support her increased weight and giving her superhuman strength and durability. It hasn't been determined how tall she can grow just yet.

Abilities
Hand-to-Hand Combat: Cassie is still being trained in Hand-to-Hand by Hawkeye but has picked it up pretty well. Once she gets more training it won't be long before she's a very good fighter.
Strength level
Somewhere between 10 - 25 tons depending on her height.
Weaknesses
Weak Points: When Cassie grows bigger, her Achilles tendons and nerve clusters grow in proportion, creating large, easy-to-hit targets.
Paraphernalia
Equipment: Stature's Suit: Cassie's former costume was made of unstable molecules, allowing it to grow and shrink along with her. It appears to be based largely on her father's uniform. Rather than the insect-controlling helmet of her father and his predecessor, Cassie wears a domino mask.
Avengers Identicard
Transportation: Quinjet
Weapons: None known.
Notes
Cassie's birthday is in June. As of A New Legacy Vol 2 she is 15.
