History[]
Carol Danvers was born to Joseph and Marie Danvers. Marie was abusive, which Joseph did nothing about.
As a child, Carol Danvers was abducted by the Kree who performed experiments on her using Mar-Vell's DNA, that made her part Kree, giving her superpowers.
She escaped from the returned to Earth where she operated as a superhero called Miss Marvel. One time, she teamed up with Spider-Man.
While she was on Earth, the Supreme Intelligence of the Kree activated a device installed in Danvers that induced a pregnancy to create a Kree-Human Hybrid child. She experienced an impossibly short one day pregnancy and gave birth to a boy. The next day, the boy grew into adolescent and called himself Marcus.
She encountered Rogue but was distracted by the trauma of the Supreme Intelligence impregnating her, allowing Rogue to steal her powers and memories and render her comatose. While Professor X was able to restore her memories, he could not restore Carol's emotional connection to them.
Civil War[]
Miss Marvel learned that Franklin Richards could predict the future. Under Loki's influence, she started using him to stop crimes before they happened. To do this, she formed a team called the Ultimates, with America Chavez, as well as a group called the Champions. She ended up getting into a fight with Spider-Man, who objected to her plan to arrest people who had yet to commit any crimes. Miss Marvel agreed to ally with Doctor Doom.
After Iron Man revealed that Franklin's predictions were calculations rather than absolute truth, Miss Marvel assumed he was lying until she decided to confront Franklin who transported her to the future to see the visions for herself. In this future, she was confronted by her future self who had become a tyrant calling herself Captain Marvel.
Returning to her own time, Miss Marvel admitted her impulsive decision was brought on by her issues from the unwanted pregnancy caused by the Supreme Intelligence and losing her powers and memories to Rogue, and tried to disband the Ultimates. The Ultimates refused and revealed a Skrull they had recruited to replace her.
Miss Marvel teamed up with Iron Man to stop them. Danvers turned herself in afterwards for her part in the Ultimates' actions.
She was transported to 10,000,000 BC where she, Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk, Jean Grey, Wolverine, Thor, Hawkeye and Spider-Man defeated an out of control Celestial called the Fallen.
They found themselves catapulted forward through time to 1000 AD where they again operated as the Avengers of that time period.
Disappearing into the time stream, Miss Marvel moved forward into the 19th century where she regrouped with Iron Man. The two teamed up to protect Iron Man's ancestor, Isaac Stark, from being killed by the Wizard of the West hired by a time displaced Doctor Doom. Miss Marvel and Iron Man fell into the water.
The two emerged in 1958, where they regrouped with the other time displaced heroes and operated as the Avengers.
Miss Marvel then found herself some time in the 20th century (the exact time is intentionally vague; the clothes and cars suggest the 1970s, but Carol is told that "retro is big this year") where she met Mar-Vell who saved her from Nitro. She warned Mar-Vell of the cancer he would die from fighting Nitro and Mar-Vell reminded her of why she became a hero in the first place.
Wanting to atone for her actions in Civil War, Miss Marvel took Mar-Vell's place, fighting Nitro, causing her to breathe in the Compound 13 instead of him.
Once returned to the present, Miss Marvel found Captain Mar-Vell alive.
During a battle with Count Nefira, Miss Marvel noticed her body was getting weaker, allowing Count Nefira to win the fight.

Civil War: Ultimatum[]
Carol Danvers was kidnapped and tortured by the Skrulls.
She eventually died from cancer brought on by Compound 13.
Reborn[]
Joseph Danvers felt responsible for his daughter's death and had a heart attack. In a coma, he met Carol in the afterlife and convinced her to come back before awakening. Four people new heroes emerged. One of them turned out to be Marcus Danvers and another a clone of Carol Danvers.
Vision claimed that the Cyborg Carol Danvers was the real one and that he brought her back by converting her into a cyborg. In reality, he still had Danvers' body and was slowly healing her.
The cyborg turned evil and Miss Marvel, Marcus, the clone and Mar-Vell teamed up to fight it.
