History
Carlos LaMuerto seemingly had a similar history as his Earth-616 counterpart.
Carlos LaMuerto was the latest in a long line of Black Tarantulas, the spider-powered leader of a cartel. Searching for his ex-wife, Carlos found her in New York City and decided to break into the city's underworld. During this period, the Black Tarantula joined the ranks of Spider-Man's rogues gallery.
Spider-Man eventually defeated Black Tarantula and the crimelord was incarcerated at Ryker's Island. After being released early for good behavior, Carlos took over a new leaf and became a vigilante and a consistent ally of Daredevil. Black Tarantula was later recruited into Spider-Man Incorporated. Stationed back in Argentina, where he sought to eradication his old organization.
