The film stars Robert Buckley, John Dumelo, Kate Beckinsale, Aaron Paul, Kate Mara, Liam Neeson, Jensen Ackles, Lana Parrilla, Rolf Hoppe, and Tom Felton. The film was written by AndrewtheKing and ElectricMayhem, making it the second co-collaboration in the Community MCU Reboot, the first being Thor: Blood Oath.

Plot

The film starts in 1930's New York, with a young Steve Rogers being woken up early in the morning by his parents fighting. He looks out his bedroom door, and witnesses his father hitting his mother. When Steve's father leaves, his mother notices Steve, and comforts him. She suggests that Steve walks to his grandfather's house, and so he does. On his way there, the neighborhood bullies corner him, and mock him for coming from a poor family with an alcoholic father. The bullies start to beat Steve up, when another kid comes and fights them off. The kid helps Steve up, and introduces himself as James Buchanan Barnes, but says that his friends just call him "Bucky." Bucky goes with Steve to his grandfather's house, and Steve's grandfather tells them a story of his experience working in the military. The two kids are amazed by the tale.

Years later, Bucky has enlisted in the military, and Steve goes to visit him as he is stationed at Pearl Harbor in Hawaii. Also at Pearl Harbor is German scientist Abraham Erskine, who is pitching his "super soldier formula" to General Chester Phillips and Peggy Carter. As Steve is about to arrive at Pearl Harbor, he notices planes coming in from the distance. Japanese soldiers attack Pearl Harbor, and Steve heroically rushes into the base. Steve rescues Bucky and a few other people, including Erskine, Phillips, and Carter. He looks back as the rest of the base is destroyed by the attackers. The next day, Erskine convinces Phillips that Steve is the perfect candidate for the super soldier treatment, as he is scrawny and meek, but he has the heart of a hero. After Steve returns to New York, he decides to sneak into a museum to get a look at some military uniforms, when suddenly Abraham Erskine reveals himself, telling Steve he has an offer to make. The scene jumps to Steve, now the super soldier Captain America, attacking a Nazi castle with Bucky. Steve warns Bucky to stay back, as this mission will be too dangerous, but he tells Steve that he'll always have his back. As they fight their way through the castle, thee Nazis' leader, the Red Skull, attacks the two, and defeats Bucky with ease, throwing him into the ocean. Steve charges at Red Skull in anger, when suddenly, in modern day, Steve awakens in a cold sweat in his room at Avengers Mansion. The next morning, he is training vigorously, when the Avengers' butler, Edwin Jarvis, informs him of a terrorist attack at the Roxxon Oil Corporation. Cap sets out on his special Stark Industries-designed motorcycle, which includes a live news feed, letting Cap know that no civilians have been harmed yet, though the terrorists are heavily armed.

Cap arrives at the museum, where police have surrounded the scene. One of the officers informs Cap that the terrorists have formed a barricade around the entrance to the museum, making it impossible for anyone to get in. Cap runs toward the barricade and tosses his shield, which ricochets from one to gunman to the other until they are all taken out. He enters the lobby of the museum, where several terrorists attack him. He fights them off with ease, and is confronted by their leader, Wilhelm Lohmer. Lohmer tells Cap that everything he stands for will fall, and Cap tells him he's heard it all before. Lohmer and his two remaining henchmen attack Cap, but he kills the two henchmen by using his shield to reflect their bullets back at them, and then defeats Lohmer in an intense hand-to-hand showdown. SHIELD agents, lead by Maria Hill, arrive at the scene and arrest Lohmer and his men. Over her earpiece, Hill tells Fury that they've arrested some of Zemo's men, and they think that if they interrogate them, they can get some answers about the Serpent Squad. Cap overhears this, and recognizes the name Zemo from one of the SHIELD files he read. Hill agrees to bring Cap in on the Zemo case, as long as he doesn't tell the other Avengers anything. Cap reluctantly agrees, and Hill takes him up to the SHIELD Helicarrier to meet with Nick Fury. Nick Fury explains that an elite team of assassins known as the Serpent Squad have been eliminating people of interest around the world in a search for what SHIELD believes to be the Serpent's Crown, a mysterious artifact from ancient times, and furthermore, that SHIELD believes Zemo to be the mastermind behind it all.

In the reclusive, technologically-advanced African nation of Wakanda, King T'Challa is speaking to the head of the nation's largest Vibranium mine, and that the miners found something strange deep within the mine. They bring out the Serpent's Crown, embedded in a large Vibranium ore. King T'Challa and his ally M'Baku discuss the Crown. They discuss the legends and the crowns apparent ties to Set. An ancient god who was said to have terrorized Wakanda in accent times.

M'Baku explains that the legends say that a group of accent Wakandan warriors allied with forces of King Kull of the now lost city of Atlantis and the forces of a young King Odin to battle Set. Set had apparently created an army of Serpent Men to try and take over humanity. After a long and brutal battle, Set was apparently slain and the Wakandans took his Crown, the only way of controlling his Army, and burred it under the ground.

T'Challa dismisses this as an old wives tale but M'Baku tells him that he is one to talk. T'Challa nods and agrees that they should move the Crown to a safer place. M'Baku tells him that he knows someone who may be able to help.

Meanwhile in a secret base hidden in the jungles of Wakanda, Heinrich Zemo and the Grim Reaper are waiting on someone to arrive. Grim Reaper asks Zemo if the person they are meeting with can even help them. Zemo tells him that she will and that she is someone that should not be double crossed.

At that moment, a woman walks in to the room. She smirks and tells Zemo how it has been a long time. She asks who his "boytoy" is and sees she likes the look of him. Grim Reaper gets in a fighting stance but Zemo stops him. He tells him that the woman is an ally that they can count on.

He tells Grim Reaper that the woman is Ophelia Sarkissian, one of Hydya's top members. He tells him that she is known for having no remorse and for being one of the best tacticians that Hydra has ever had, earning her the nickname of Madam Hydra.

She smirks and tells him not to flatter her. She says that whilst she will always be loyal to Hydra, she has her own mission that she needs help with. She explains that she and her allies have been looking for a powerful artifact known as the Serpent's Crown. She explains that a friend of hers has tasked her with gaining the crown, but that she and her allies have been making too much noise and and need some help. She explains that if Zemo can help her get the crown, then she will lend her powers to Hydra once more.

Zemo agrees and shakes her hand. He says that he will have Grim Reaper and his men go after the crown. Opheila tells him that they will have some help. At that moment she clicks her fingers and six other figures walk in from behind her.

Zemo smirks and says that they will be a great help. Grim Reaper asks who they are and Opheila tells him that they are her "children" and that they are loyal to her hunt. The hunt for the crown.

Meanwhile, a jet is flying over Wakanda. Steve is sitting inside the jet, looking down at some pictures of himself and Bucky from the war. He flips to the next picture, a picture of himself and Peggy. He runs his finger down Peggy's cheek. At this moment, Hill walks up behind him and puts her arm on his shoulder. She says that if Peggy was anything like the woman he's told her about, then she would be proud of him. He says that she doesn't know that. He tells him to go and ask her.

Steve looks shocked, but she tells him that Peggy is still alive and that she has been asking to see him ever since she saw him and the other Avengers on TV after the battle with Graviton. Cap asks when she was going to tell him. She says that it was Fury's idea. That he wanted to brake it to him slowly. Cap nods, understanding. He sees Maria turn on her phone, on the inside is a photo of her hugging up to another woman. Cap asks who it is. Maria just smiles and says that we all have reasons to keep fighting. The plane lands and Cap and Maria get out. They are greeted by a group of armed men lead by M'Baku and another man. Kate greats the other man, reveling him to be Clint Barton, a high ranking shield agent who was placed in Wakanda. M'Baku greats them and leads them to the home of King T'Chaka.

On the way there, Clint and Maria keep talking. She asks if Agent Thirteen is with him. He looks down and remarks that Agent Thirteen has been missing for some months now. Maria looks down, saddened and then looks at Cap as he walks ahead of them. They reach King T'Chaka, who greats them and leads them inside. He leads them to the Crown. He tells them that he is aware that S.H.E.I.L.D has been looking for the crown and that things like these are more of their type of thing. Cap smiles and nods at this, telling him that they will have their men look at it.

T'Chaka's children T'Challa and Shuri enter the room and talk with the S.H.E.I.L.D agents. Clint introduces them to Maria and Cap. The four get on well, but T'Challa seems to distrust Cap. As the four talk, a window shatters. A group of Hydra agents begin to pour into the building. Cap begins thinking fast and flings his shield, taking out many of the agents at once. Maria and Clint begin shooting agents and even T'Challa takes part in the battle with the agents.

But then Grim Reaper enters the room, backed up by Diamondback and Death Adder of the Serpent Squad. He smirks, telling Cap "Oh Rodgers. You thought i was dead. That would have been better for you"

Reaper charges at Captain America and the two begin fighting. Meanwhile Diamondback fights Clint and Maria. She seems to go easy on them, as if she doesn't want to hurt them.

Death Adder fights T'Challa. She explains that she was born as a mutant and kicked from her home in Japan. She says that she almost took her own life, until she was found by her mistress, who gave her a new goal in life. Her story is able to chip away at T'Challa, almost earning his trust. But at the last moment she goes to stab him and his father jumps in the way, killing his father. T'Challa screams and grabs his body. This leads to Reaper being able to steal the crown from them. He gathers what's left of his men and leaves with Diamondback and Death Adder as the three jump into a plane. Cap tries to chase them but they get away.

T'Challa holds his father's dying body as Shuri and M'Baku stand over him. His father looks up at his son and tells him he is proud of him and his sister. After this, he dies.

Cap looks at this and scowls, saying that Hydra will pay. As he says that, he sees Bucky's body there.

Meanwhile, Grim Reaper hands the Crown to Madam Hydra. She smirks and smirks that not even the Sorcerer Supreme himself was able to find the crown. She remarks that this is a great day for Hydra. At that moment, Dimondback steps away. She takes out a phone and calls a number. She speaks down the other end. "Clint. This is Sharon. Get ready to strike."

At the home of King T'Chaka, Cap and M'Baku get into an argument. M'Baku says that Cap and his allies where the ones who caused this. He talks about the many attacks by supervillains that have happened since heroes like Hulk and Iron Man appeared in the world. T'Challa agrees and is about to tell them to leave, but Shuri stops him. She tells him that their father would not have blamed them, and that maybe it time she showed him something.

She leads him downstairs and takes him to a room, inside the room is a suit on display in a case. It is the suit of the Black Panther. A being who has said to have existed since the time of Set. She tells him that the Black Panther is a mantle that has been passed down since then, and that maybe that if he wanted their father to be proud then he would take it up. He nods and agrees as he clenches his fist.

Meanwhile Clint gets the call and tells the others that he has a lead on Hydra. Cap and Maria agree to follow him. As they get ready to leave, T'Challa walks up, dressed in the Black Panther outfit, telling him that he wants in. Cap nods and tells him that they would be happy to have the help.
