I just don't think Disney, or to be more exact, the people in charge of these cartoons, understand Spider-Man in the slightest. He really only works on a team if it's an older Spider-Man, like when he joined the New Avengers in the comics. When that happened, it worked, because Spider-Man had been such a mainstay of the Marvel Universe so long and by that time he was a full-grown adult. Also, I feel people just don't care about Miles Morales at all, like in general. He's a great character with a great supporting cast and he really does feel like his own hero, as opposed to most of Marvel's newer "diverse" versions of classic characters (save for Kamala Khan). Like Max, I prefer keeping Miles in his own universe, unless it's a one-off crossover like Spider-Men, which wasn't a story I particularly cared for but I'm just using it as an example. If it's like Spider-Men, then I still don't really like it, but at least it's better than having him ripped out of his original setting and forced into a universe he was never supposed to be in. Unless Marvel had the balls to kill of Earth-616 Parker (and for real this time, no weird body-swapping Superior Spider-Man shenanigans) and introduce a 616 counterpart to Miles Morales who becomes the new Spider-Man of that universe. Not saying that should happen, just saying that'd be crazy and I'd have to respect Marvel for it.
