Synopsis[]

Cast and Characters[]

Main Cast[]

  • Louisa Connolly-Burnham as Elsa Bloodstone

A once-immortal monster hunter, since losing most of his powers - and immortality - he was forced into retirement, leaving his work to his daughter.
  • Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau / Spectrum

  • Mahershala Ali as Eric Brooks / Blade
A dhampir known as the "Daywalker", Blade has made a name for himself as arguably history's greatest vampire hunter. While he misidentifies his next target as a vampire, he sticks around to help finish the job.
  • Alexander Ludwig as Simon William Garth
A sorcerer who has the power to raise the dead under his control through necromancy. While his goal is to simply build up his power and influence, he overestimates his own abilities, which could backfire and cause even more problems than he himself ever could.

  • Kieran O'Reilly as Dodd
A S.W.O.R.D. agent working under Monica.

Episodes[]

No. Title
1
"A Thriller Night"
Elsa Bloodstone, a fiery monster hunter, finds herself investigating a series of peculiar deaths linked to dark sorcery. While hunting down leads, she encounters the enigmatic sorcerer Simon William Garth, who accidentally raises a horde of bumbling zombies during a misguided attempt to impress a cabal of strange, amateur occultists. As Elsa struggles with Garth's antics, she crosses paths with Blade, a seasoned vampire hunter.
Meanwhile, Monica Rambeau, a S.W.O.R.D. agent hot on the trail of dark magic, arrives in Boston and is faced with a very undead dance number.
2
"The Great Boston Monster Mash"
Blade leaves on his own to deal with the problem. Shortly after, Elsa meets Monica and they forge an alliance. Consulting her father Ulysses, the three learn that Garth biblically bungled the spell he cast, and things are going to become far more strange going forward.
As the heroes deal with the zombies, Garth's weird demeanor masks a haunting obsession and unsettling plans for the undead.
Meanwhile, the citizens of Boston come face to face with the zombies.
3
"Dead Man's Party"
The city of Boston has....welcomed the zombies with open arms? As it turns out, the people are growing rather fond of their new undead, and strangely placid neighbors. Ulysses, however, knows that the situation is one wrong bite away from turning into a full-blown zombie apocalypse.
All the while, Blade confronts Garth directly.
4
"Zombie Jamboree"
As Garth battles the Daywalker, his acolytes opt to go rogue. No longer interested in his agenda, they decide to turn the zombies he summoned into a regular Boston tourist attraction, planning various entertainment and dance productions with them.
Ulysses prepares to go to war, and begins to inventory all of his weapons and tools....only to find most of them have either been demolished, or used up, since Elsa took over the family business. Exasperated, and without weapons, Ulysses turns to the black market to find the tools he needs. And as fortune would have it, one man might indeed have the hook-up: The one, the only, Turk Barrett.
5
"Your Boogie Man"
As luck would have it, Turk has left the arms dealer business...and is all in with the Boston zombie scene after leaving Hell's Kitchen. Ulysses, however, does manage to squeeze what he can out of him. As the Bloodstones and Monica gear up, Blade returns, and reveals Garth's true plans. As he does, the zombies suddenly turn violent, and begin scouring Boston in search of Garth's acolytes.
6
"The Garth Groove"
Blade reveals Garth's true agenda is to raise an army of the undead and take over the world....much to the disappointment of Elsa and Monica, put off by the sheer mundanity of such a generic plan. But mundane or not, he needs to be stopped all the same, and the Bloodstone team heads off into battle to save Boston from the walkers.
In a post-credit scene, Monica is approached by S.W.O.R.D. commander Chrell, as he warns her of the coming galactic threat.
