History
Animax's history is exactly the same as that of Earth-616's Animax up until the Marvel NEW! relaunch.
After being influenced by the past and present X-Men, she asked them to teach her to control her powers. She asked them to set her on the right path as an X-Man. After realizing she couldn't let go of a chance to take someone's life, Wolverine told her to join the X-Force, a team of X-Men who aren't afraid to kill. While on the X-Force she realize her ability was to pull creatures from a different universe at will.
