Black Panther: Realm of Kings is a the first film in the Marvelette Cinematic Universe's Phase Five. It was released on February 18th, 2022, following Thor: Love and Thunder and preceding The Fantastic Four and the Paradox of the Mole People. The film is directed by Ryan Coogler.

Plot[]
After the kingdom of Atlantis is discovered, Black Panther attempts to reach out and form an alliance with King Namor, solidifying their two kingdoms. However, when a betrayal from within T'Challa's trusted companions results in the deaths of several Atlanteans, a war is declared that could very well bring an end to the entire world.

- Namor makes his MCU debut as the main antagonist. Both he and the film's protagonist, Black Panther, originally debuted in the pages of Fantastic Four comics.
- Joe Taslim, the actor who plays Namor, has previously appeared in both Star Trek and Mortal Kombat franchises.
- Nakia takes up her mantle as the villain Malice from the comics, betraying T'Challa and eventually meeting her death at the reluctant hands of Okoye.
- Ryan Coogler returns from the first film to write and direct.
- The film is dedicated to Stan Lee.
- Shuri briefly takes up the mantle of Black Panther, as she once did in the comics.
- Nick Fury only appears in this movie because Samuel L. Jackson kept bothering Kevin Feige about going to Wakanda.
- Killmonger appears in a cameo when T'Challa goes to visit him in the spirit world.
- The film's post-credits scene teases the rise of Latveria, which would be expanded upon in The Fantastic Four and the Paradox of the Mole People.
