This article, Benjamin Reilly (Earth-218215), is property of MysteryScooby. |
Ben is my brother. There were times where he felt more like Peter Parker than I did. He's recently done some inexcusable things, but he's already seeking redemption. I'm just trying to keep my brother from straying from this path again.
History
Ben Reilly seemingly had a similar history as his Earth-616 counterpart.
Following his tenure as the Jackal, Ben sought refuge in Las Vegas. He stole a cosplayer's spider-suit and returned to the role of Scarlet Spider. Ben couldn't fully return to his heroic ways; however, and was much more darker and sadistic than he was in the past.
He hadn't been in the city long before he was confronted by Spider-Man. A fight quickly ensured, but Peter was able to defeat Ben with superior technology and fighting skills. Peter offered Ben probationary membership with Spider-Man Incorporated, which Ben accepted.
