Bendita Lorenzo a.k.a. Flare is a member of the X-Legacy. She was raised on a farm. After Bendita accidentally setting fire to her house, her sister extinguished the flames. But they had no shelter, so Bendita's brother made a dwelling, by lifting up the surrounding grass and dirt, and used the trees as walls. After this the sibling's were taken to Manora's School for Mutants. She and her brother and sister, were taught by Leann Manora.
