History

During World War II, Barry Rogers was a young adult/teenager who wanted nothing more than to join the U.S. Army. Unfortunately due to his height and health conditions he wasn't allowed, so Barry experimented on himself. During his experiments Barry's best friend Wallace Barnes had been sent to join the army. One fateful day one of his experiment went wrong as a batch of his chemicals was struck by lightning and the combination of the lightning with the chemicals gave Barry super speed. This meant that Barry was able to join, unfortunately, Barry was to fast to hold a gun due to his super speed because if he did the gun would overheat. So he was given a shield by an ally he would grow close to during the war. Barry would due to his speed and his shield become an asset to the army, but on one fateful day when Barry was checking out a rouge science division for the Nazis.

During the war Barry and his brigade including his ally, his best friend, and a few others tried to defeat the leader of a division of Nazi scientists named Vandal Shmidt. During one of the battles Schmidt held Wally in his hands and Barry's leg was broken by Schmidt so he couldn't do anything. Schmidt offered to give Wally back if Barry could tell him how he got his powers. Barry told him about the accident that gave him his powers but it wasn't good enough for Schmidt and Wally was thrown into the river.

On one fateful day when Barry was checking out a rouge science division for the Nazis. He found that they sent a suicide bomber jet to America to blow up a part of it, so Barry seeing no other choice ran as fast as he could in a circle until he was able to touch the jet. Until he just up and vanished.

Years later Barry had reappeared and was not in the 21st century, there Barry made new friends and with them he formed the Avenging League. Barry also found that the friend he had made during the war was still alive and kicking and she joined the team along with him.

On one fateful day when the Sisterhood of Evil Meta-humans had broken into a tech facility, Barry ran to the facility where he found a young hero trying to fight them off but obviously struggling. So Barry helped him up by super speedily defeating the sisterhood, afterwards the young hero named Jaime Wilson would be allowed to join/train under the Avenging League as Blue Falcon. Training Jaime would remind Barry of another young hero and best friend who had fought by his side during the war who was dead, or at least so Barry thought.

Unknown to Barry, Wally was still alive and being experimented on by Randall Schmidt, one day Schmidt sent Wally to kill Barry. Thanks to the help of Jaime, Barry was able to take Wally down and take him to the Avenging League, there Wally's mind and memories would be recovered and the 2 would fight together again as a team.
