Early[]
Barbara "Bobbi" Morse (born April, 1980) was born the first child and only daughter of firefighter Benjamin Morse and marine biologist Susan Morse. Growing up Bobbi was considered a tomboy, preferring to wear pants to dresses and play sports rather than play with dolls. Leaving her parents outmatched by her boundless energy and attitude. However despite this Barbara also developed a curiosity towards science, especially in regards to her mother's work. A thing the two bounded over. It also helped to develop Bobbi's lifelong interest in math and science. Which is why she went on to earn herself a degree in biology when she attended college, specifically a PhD under Dr. Wilma Calvin, a highly respected biochemist that Bobbi found a mentor figure in. So much so Wilma invited her to work on a project backed by S.H.I.E.L.D known as Gladiator, which was another one of organizations attempts to re-create the Super Soldier Serum that gave birth to Captain America. Though Bobbi didn't know any of this at the time she agreed to work on the project. Instead she was only excited to be pushing the boundaries of science itself.
After agreeing to join Wilma on working on Project: Gladiator the two of them were joined by fellow scientist Dr. Ted Sallis and Dr. Paul Allen, the latter of whom was secretly a member of the terrorist/science organization known as A.I.M. A fact which Bobbi eventually discovered, since she was suspicious of Dr. Allen from the beginning and decided to investigate on her own to see what he was hiding. Once discovered Allen attempted to kill Bobbi, but using the years of martial arts training at her disposal she managed to turn the tables on him and save the project. After which she was approached by S.H.I.E.L.D agent Melinda May who offered her a chance to do more with her natural skills and become an agent of the organization. An offer Barbara took without hesitation. Thus she began her training and once it was completed she was given the codename Mockingbird since she had a penchant for taunting her opponents.
Life As A S.H.I.E.L.D Agent[]
After joining S.H.I.E.L.D. Bobbi steadily begins rising through the ranks, becoming a well-respected and decorated agent. She also ends up romantically involved with her fellow agent Clint "Hawkeye" Barton. Who in 2010 ends up as a founding member of the superhero team known as the Avengers. Of which Bobi finds herself working with on numerous occasions due to her relationship with Clint and S.H.I.E.L.D. in general. Due to this Clint recommends Bobbi for Avengers membership and the vote is unanimous. Thus she becomes a part-time Avenger. Though she still continues working for S.H.I.E.L.D.
Ms. Hawkeye[]
In the aftermath of World War X, realizing they will likely always be involved in one event after another Clint and Bobbi get married. Shortly after which their first child, Callum Barton is born.
Hydra Uprising[]
In the wake of Hydra reemergence into the world and S.H.I.E.L.D. being disavowed Bobbi linked up with Coulson, who was now the director of S.H.I.E.L.D., and began working with them. Bringing her into contact with her ex- boyfriend Lance Hunter who had been sent by S.H.I.E.L.D. ally the E.D.I. to support them in their fight against the new and emerging threats.
It was also during this time Bobbi was asked by Coulson to go undercover inside of Hydra. An idea Clint didn't like one bit. But being who she was Bobbi decided to do so anyway. Inadvertently selling out Kara Palamas in the process to gain entry into the terrorist organization. Where she began feeding intelligence to Coulson and S.H.I.E.L.D. who spread it out to their other allies. Until Bobbi had to break her cover to rescue fellow undercover S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Jemma Simmons. After which she rejoined S.H.I.E.L.D. full time. Until she was captured by Palamas and Ward who tortured her in an act of vengeance for Bobbi unintentionally selling out the former. That is until Clint and Lance rescued her.

Back In Action[]
After several months of rehab Bobbi was once again back in action. Subsequently in time for the Ultimate Alliance War. Where after which, although giving birth to her twins Lila and Lewis, and then her youngest child Nicole, she along with her husband Clint still worked to protect the world from all threats. Now with even more reason, as they wanted to make it a safe place for their children to grow up.

- Bobbi briefly dated fellow S.H.I.E.L.D. Clay Quartermain during their time at S.H.I.E.L.D. Academy. But as soon as graduation hit broke it off.
- Bobbi considers Natasha to be her best friend.
- While pregnant with her twins Bobbi nearly had a miscarriage, due to the lasting effects from her torture at the hands of Ward and Palamas, but she managed to give birth and pull through.
- Upon learning their child Nicole was born deaf, and with Clints' own hearing loss over the years, Bobbi learned American Sign Language and British Sign Language to better communicate with them both.
