Avengers: The Series is a live-action television show based on the Avengers. It is the first Avengers series to ever be made in live-action, contrary to the previous ones being animated. Although some of the cast is new including Channing Tatum as Captain America and Adrien Brody as Bruce Banner, it also retains actors from the Marvel Cinematic Universe including Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, and Chris Hemsworth as Thor. There will be lots of villains in the show including Loki whom Tom Hiddleston will reprise his role as, and Downey will also be voicing antagonist Ultron in the series as well.
Due to the success of the Avengers trilogy, Marvel Studios decided to make another television series but one based in live action rather than the animation any Avengers show had been using in order have something more of what Kevin Feige had described as "creativity". Some of the actors from the MCU remained due to the fact that Marvel couldn't have imagined anyone else playing them and although Chris Evans was someone they wished they could reuse, sadly Evans already left but Channing Tatum was chosen due to him being a fan favorite to play the character, and due to the fact that the actor looked like Evans.
The series had aired on January 25, 2020.
