Plot[]

When Hela resurfaces and reanimates the Black Order to send them on a quest to revive Thanos, Thor must team up with the Guardians of the Galaxy to hunt them across the galaxy and put an end to their scheme before the balance of the universe can be put in danger once more!

Trivia[]

  • Not counting Infinity War and Endgame, this is the first film to feature the Guardians of the Galaxy in which known of them receive top billing, missing out to Chris Hemsworth.
  • James Gunn could not direct this film due to scheduling conflicts, but still helped to write the script and produce the film. Taika Waititi takes over as Director.
  • Phyla-Vell makes her debut in this film portrayed by Jodi Johnston, and is confirmed as Mar-Vell's daughter. She forms a close friendship with Captain Marvel and a relationship with Moondragon.
  • The film's mid-credits scene teases the Magus.
  • This film features the third death of Thanos in the MCU, this time he is killed by Nebula.
  • The Soul Stone rematerializes in this film through the power of Adam Warlock, and Gamora has her soul replenished, returning the memories of her life from before Avengers: Endgame.
