History
Arthur Essex was created by Nathaniel Essex in an alternate timeline using the DNA of Apocalypse, Gabriel Summers, Jean Grey, Wolverine, Black Bolt, Lash, Crystal, and Karnak. Arthur was the result after several hundred failed experiments. Once Nathaniel had created a successful Hybrid he placed it into a Growth Accelerator until the child was at the age of 20, after pulling the child out of the Accelerator. Sinister injects Arthur with a NZ67 Serum, which is made of Mutant Growth Hormone, Heart Shaped Herb and a liquid version of Terrigen Crystals with the catalyst being Exposure to Gamma Radiation. After going through Terragenesis Sinister grafted Adamantium onto Arthurs Skeleton. Mr. Sinister had Arthur trained in Hand to Hand combat as well as Firearms training. When Mr. Sinister believed that Arthur was ready he put him into a Time Machine, planning on sending him back in time to when Apocalypse enslaved Mr. Sinister, however due to Arthurs immense power it malfunctioned and sent him back in time to 1897 leaving him without a purpose.
