• Arno Stark is the Multiverse X counterpart of Immortus, but named after Arno Stark and taking some inspiration from him as well.
  • The largest inspiration for the character comes from the prior Earth-5 character Alexander Stark, who was the future son of Iron Man and served as Kang in the year 2099, and was also one of the most developed characters from the project.
  • Part of the reason this character was kept, despite being massively different from established Marvel continuity, was to separate the legacy of Kang into several individuals, simplifying his comic book history (as much as time travel, temporal duplicates, and impersonation in comic books can possibly be simplified).
