He was born to Hecate thousands of years ago.

After Hecate was exiled from Olympus and imprisoned on the Raft, he became the new god of magic, witchcraft, witches and the underworld.

Powers and Abilities[]

Powers[]

  • Olympian Deity Physiology: He possesses the conventional superhuman attributes of an Olympian Deity.
    • Superhuman Strength: Like all Olympians, he is superhumanly strong. His strength is far superior to the vast majority of his race and he is capable of lifting over 100 tons, without supplementing his strength with his other powers.
    • Superhuman Speed: He is capable of running and moving at speeds much greater than even the finest human athlete, enabling him to run 111-115 mph.
    • Superhuman Agility: His agility, balance, and bodily coordination, have been conditioned to levels that are far superior to the natural physical limits of even the finest human athlete.
    • Superhuman Reflexes: His reflexes have been greatly conditioned and are much more superior to the natural physical limits of even the finest human athlete.
    • Godlike Stamina: His highly advanced physiology generates almost no fatigue toxins during physical activity, enabling to sustain almost indefinitely. As a result, he possesses almost limitless superhuman stamina.
    • Superhumanly Dense Tissue: His skin, muscle, bone, and all other bodily tissues have 3 times the density of the same tissue in the body of a human being.
    • Invulnerability: His body is highly resistant to all forms of physical injury, far more so than the vast majority of his race. He is capable of withstanding great impact forces, exposure to temperature and pressure extremes, falls from tremendous heights, and powerful energy blasts without sustaining injury.
    • Regenerative Healing Factor: Like all Olympians, if injured, he is capable of healing himself with superhuman speeds and efficiency, enabling him to heal all injuries. He is even capable of regenerating missing limbs or organs if necessary.
    • Self Sustenance: He is almost completely self-sustained, he does not require air, and does not need to eat or drink.
    • True Immortality: Like all Olympians, he is truly immortal and cannot die by any conventional means. He has not aged since reaching adulthood and is immune to the effects of aging. He is also immune to all Earthly diseases and infections.
    • Energy Projection: In addition to being able to manipulate energy, he can project it in vast quantities offensively or defensively.
      • Energy Blasts: He can release and project powerful energy blasts of various shapes and/or intensities, such as bolts, beams, bursts and waves, that can knock, destroy, and annihilate his targets. He has shown that his energy blasts can knock out god-like beings.
      • Solid Energy Constructs: He has displayed the ability to turn his magical energy into tools, objects, weapons, and other items to suit his needs. He has created a shield, sword, knife, sharp whips and other projectiles, weapons and constructions of mystical energy.
    • Resurrection:
  • Sorcery: He possess vast magical powers, which surpass some of the magic-wielding powers of any other Olympian god. He can generate and manipulate other forms of energy as well. His mystic energy manifests as black or purple energy.

  • Telekinesis: Projection of psychokinetic energy enables him to levitate objects, propel or manipulate them however he wishes, lift himself and move through the air to simulate flight, stimulate individual molecules to create heat, generate concussive force as blasts or bursts, and create protective shields.
    • Psychic Raven: He can manifest his telekinesis as a psychic raven, whose claws could inflict both physical and mental damage.
    • Telekinetic Force Field: He can create a telekinetic field to shield him and his teammates.
    • Tactile Telekinesis: He has the power to utilize a personal force field of telekinetic energy.
    • Telekinetic Weapons: He can create psionic weapons and constructs out of psychic energy that damage a target either physically, mentally or both in some instances.
  • Teleportation:
    • Dimensional Travel: He can magically teleport himself, other persons, and objects across dimensional barriers, such as from Olympus to Earth.
  • Spells and Phrases: He has a vast knowledge of mystical spells and incantations invoking names and aspects of various extra-dimensional objects, beings and sources of power. Although he has shown the ability to cast "spells" by only saying or focusing on what he wants to happen, this could be related to the nature of his powers.
  • Mystic Bolts: He is able to generate powerful bolts of fiery energy.
  • Shapeshifting: Another ability common to the Olympians, including him, is the ability to change shape. He can transform his physical appearance to resemble another humanoid being, animal, or even inanimate objects.
  • Umbrakinesis: He can control darkness and shadows as if they were physical constructs, most notably using them to bind opponents. He can additionally summon humanoid shadow constructs. He can also generate bursts of shadows capable of reducing beings to ashes.
    • Shadow Blasts:
    • Shadow Form: He can also become a shadow himself to slip through the grasp of enemies.
  • Scrying: He has shown an ability to use water or mirrors in order to see locations and beings from afar and to communicate.
  • Precognition:
  • Flight: He has been shown to levitate and fly.
  • Telepathy: He is able to read minds and project his own thoughts into the minds of others within a radius of 250 miles (on Earth). With extreme effort he can greatly extend that radius. When synced with Cerebro or Cerebra, he can connect to every mind on a planet.
    • Telepathic Illusions: He has the ability to create realistic telepathic illusions and cause people to experience events which are not actually occurring.
    • Telepathic Cloak: He can mask his presence from being detected by others. His abilities could at times go undetected or be counteracted by other more powerful telepaths depending on their level of skill in using their own psi abilities. He can extend these defenses to others around him as well.
    • Mind Link: He has the ability to develop a mental link with any person which remains as a connection to that individual.
    • Telepathic Camouflage: He is capable of masking his and/or other peoples' presence from those around him. He can telepathically disguise himself, making his appearance to those around him quite different (changing the appearance of clothing, as well as more involved disguising).
    • Mind Blast: He has the ability to place large amounts of information in another's mind.
    • Mind Control: He possesses the power to control the minds of others upon mere concentration. This power could allow him to completely shut down several people's minds, making it appear as if time has stopped.
    • Mind Possession: He can possess the mind of another, and use that being's body as his own.
    • Mind Alteration: He has the ability to alter the minds of others by force of will.
    • Mental Amnesia: He can cause loss of particular memories or total amnesia in another person or a group of people.
    • Psychic Wave Manipulation: His mental talents are such that he can give his psionic power enough physical substance to affect the material world through his telepathy.
    • Psionic Shield: He has the ability to erect a psychic shield for protection of himself and of other minds, so that he could prevent the free access to the conscious and subconscious mind of anyone.
    • Psionic Blasts: He can project psionic force bolts which had no physical effects but can affect a victim's mind so as to cause the victim pain or unconsciousness and could even kill an adversary.
    • Mental Detection: He can sense the presence of another person within a small but as yet undefined radius of himself by perceiving the distinctive mental radiations emitted by such a being.
    • Mind Transferal: He possesses the ability to transfer both his mind and powers into other host bodies if his own physical body was somehow killed.
    • Absorb Information: He has the ability to quickly process and store information, by mental transference.
    • Telepathic Learning: He is also able to telepathically teach information to other individuals. For example, he was also able to impart months of training into the minds of four young magicians, over the span of a few hours, to insure they were better able to use their powers and work together as a team.

He can use his control over water to create powerful water blasts at his opponents. He is the greatest swimmer on the Earth. He can move at superhuman speeds while in water. He can breathe under water indefinitely and can breathe oxygen as well.

  • Chlorokinesis: He possesses the ability to manipulate and control the growth of plants and other vegetation bending them to his will.
  • Electrokinesis: His ability to generate tremendous amounts of electrical energy and to project them from his hands in the form of lightning bolts or summon lightning and his ability to manipulate lightning was shown to greatly exceed that of Thor at times.
  • Atmokinesis:
  • Magical Awareness: He has shown the ability to be aware of almost anything that affects him and his surroundings.
    • Aura Detection: He can detect other people's aura to determine if they are aligned with good, evil or none.
    • Supernatural Tracking: He can track people and objects easily over any distance or conditions.
  • Astral Projection: He possess the ability to project his spirit or astral body out of his physical body in order to travel into the spirit world or the astral plane.

    • Time Stopping: He has the ability to stop or freeze time.
    • Time Travel: He has the ability to create a portals which connected the past to the present.
    • Duration Manipulation: He has the ability to manipulate the duration of anything and to accelerate and reverse time itself.
