History
Anton Vanko was born in Armenia when it was a Soviet republic and managed to work his way up the ranks as an inventor. He started to gain renown and eventually ended up in a race with the famous American inventor and businessman Howard Stark in the creation of the Arc Reactor, a theoretical energy source of limitless potential. After some time towards the end of the Cold War the two decided to pool their resources as a sign of promoting peace between the two superpowers. But eventually the village where his family had settled was attacked by Anti-Soviet Armenian freedom fighters who he upon investigation discovered used Stark weapons. His son Ivan had disappeared and was presumed dead in the chaos. Vanko broke off ties with Stark and focused on finding a way to destroy him and the capitalist system he blamed for his existence. Even with the fall of the Soviet Union he couldn't let go and joined a group of like-minded radicals who created a terrorist organization known as Leviathan. With his expertise Vanko managed to build to create their greatest weapon, a team of armored warriors collectively referred to as the Crimson Dynamo.
