History
The last time I listened to a robot, he attempted to kill me.

Iron Man presumably had a similar history to his Earth-616 and Earth-199999 counterparts[1] up until he discovered a strange energy signature, upon having J.A.R.V.I.S. scan it he discovered it was being created by a robot named Optimus Prime. Upon getting close to Prime, Iron Man was scanned, this made Iron Man paranoid and when the robot began to ask him for help he was very skeptical, Iron Man brought up his experiences with Ultron who mistook Ultron for his enemy Megatron. Iron Man explained who Ultron was and then questioned Optimus on whether he was an Artificial Intelligence or not before Superman (Kal-El/Clark Kent) came over and interrogated the 2 and asked what the issue was.[2]
Tony explained that his issue was Optimus Prime and the fact that Superman was butting in, Optimus then proceeding to scan Superman. Optimus explained what was going on which made Iron Man extremely skeptical about Optimus' true intentions while Superman was open to the possibility that Optimus was telling the truth. Iron Man however refused to believe it and opened fire on Optimus, Superman upon seeing that Optimus was not fighting back flew towards Tony and punched him knocking him back several feet. Iron Man realized that Superman was a Kryptonian and so asked if J.A.R.V.I.S. if he had any Kryptonite on him to which J.A.R.V.I.S. informed Tony that he had some in his pocket.[2]
Tony then absorbed the Kryptonite into his suit and shot the Kryptonite laced repulsor beams at Superman knocking him down, Superman shocked asked Iron Man how he got his hands on the stuff. Iron Man stated that he got it in a meeting with one of his business partners, Iron Man then flew towards Optimus preparing to kill him only to be knocked down by Optimus' best friend Bumblebee. Iron Man upon seeing Bumblebee assumed he was Optimus' protege and so called his own that being Spider-Man (Peter Parker) who proceeded to web up Optimus, Bumblebee, and Superman. Spider-Man asked Iron Man what was going on and Iron Man explained what was happening and his point of view on it, Spider-Man asked if it was really so crazy to believed the robot's story until Iron Man brought up Ultron.[2]
Seeing that Iron Man was not going to see reason, Superman called in his sons Superboy (Jon Kent) and Superteen (Jordan Kent), upon seeing the Kryptonian/Human Hybrids Iron Man stated in worry that him and J.A.R.V.I.S. were likely going to need more Kryptonite. However before he could finish telling J.A.R.V.I.S. him, Spider-Man, Superman, Superboy, Superteen, Bumblebee, and Optimus were flung several feet by a blaster with the blast being shot by none other than Megatron. Iron Man then finally believed Optimus about Megatron to which Superman retorted that Iron Man needs to learn to have more faith in others, however Spider-Man told them that while they hadn't believed each other before it was now important for them to team up.[2]
Megatron began to gloat to the 6 before being hit with a shield via Captain America (Steve Rogers), Megatron however still gloated when Superman flew up to him and burned down his energon shield. However Megatron through scanning discovered that Superman was a Kryptonian and so called decepticons Starscream, Soundwave, and Vortex who proceeded to attack them however with team work the heroes were winning making Megatron angry, so he proceeded to transform into tank mode and blast the 8 away. This led to Optimus and Bumblebee transforming into their alternate modes so that those of them who couldn't fly could escape with them.[2]
Introductions and Meetings
Eventually the 8 met at a rendezvous point where they informed each other of their backstories. Afterwards they met back at Avengers Tower, Bumblebee was confused about the presence of Doctor Robert Bruce Banner due to him being a regular human with seemingly no extraordinary abilities. However Tony and Steve tried to imply to Bumblebee of Bruce's Hulk nature, Bumblebee then saw the Tesseract and mistook it for his species' Allspark and upon touching it he got sent back falling onto Bruce. This caused Bruce to turn into Hulk and he began rampaging throughout the tower, Tony tried to attack him to calm him down but it just resulted in Tony himself being attacked. J.A.R.V.I.S. suggested taking the fight outside to which Tony replied that it was a good idea.[1]
Superman then took the Hulk to space however it just resulted in the Hulk being taken to the moon and the Hulk punched Superman back to earth. Tony wondered if anyone was gonna save Superman from causing damage to the residents down below and Thor came out to save Superman. However upon grabbing Superman, Superman flew back towards Hulk and after punching him a bit knocked him out.[1]
Mercenaries
Later on unbeknownst to Tony and the rest of the Avengers Deathstroke (Slade Wilson) was sent by Lex Luthor to kill the Avengers, Justice League, and Autobots. However before he could actually take the shot, Deadpool (Wade Wilson) knocked him down, Tony heard the commotion and was confused by it. Wade told the Avengers to not worry and that he'd be back but he had to deal with something first, a few minutes later Wade called the Avengers to warn them that since Deathstroke and Lockdown had been sent after them first Ultron was likely next.[3]
Suddenly Ultron burst through the wall leading to the Avengers, Superman, Superboy, Superteen, Optimus Prime, and Bumblebee having to fight him along with Vision helping them. However as Ultron began to monologue he (or rather his drone) was destroyed by Nemesis Prime a clone of Optimus created by the decepticons. And the people who helped or rather forced the clone of Optimus to destroy the drone was Spider-Man (Ben Reilly) Spider-Man's clone and Bizarro Superman's clone. Iron Man then learned that Optimus wasn't an artificial intelligence before Superman brought another clone of his Superboy (Kon-El/Conner Kent) to which Iron Man stated it was nice to have more members on the team.[3] [4]
Final Battle
When a bunch of superhero speedster captured villain speedsters who were being interrogated, Iron Man was among the heroes interrogating him. When it was discovered that Ultron, Lex Luthor, and Megatron were working with more powerful beings like Thanos, Darkseid, and Megartronus Prime Iron Man, Optimus Prime, and Superman along with the sub-leaders went to their individual teams to tell them to suit up and prepare for battle.
