Anna Raven Carlyle aka Rogue is a street-smart runaway from Meridian City, Mississippi. Rogue is the X-Men's self-described Southern belle. A mixed raced teenager and a runaway, she was taken in by the members of the of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants whose leader was Reeva Payge and spent her teenage years as a villain.
After Rogue permanently absorbs Ms. Marvel's psyche and Kree powers, she reforms and turns to the X-Men, fearing for her sanity and is later adopted by X-men 3rd Genesis member Mystique.
