Coach thinks he stole the possibility of a normal life from me. But the truth is, I was never going to be "normal." At least with Mania, I know I can make a difference.
- —Andi Benton
History
Andi Benton seemingly had a similar history as her Earth-616 counterpart.
Andrea's life was saved by Agent Venom when his symbiote bonded her to his clone. The pair took the name Mania and became the superhero's sidekick. Unknown to Flash, the Venom symbiote had actually transferred its Hell-Mark to Mania.
When Flash left Philadelphia, Andi stayed behind and continued her vigilante activities. Mania would eventually pass on the Hell-Mark to Andi, corrupting her and causing the symbiote to become more violent. Their actions caught the attention of Agent Venom and they returned to Philadelphia. With the help of Spider-Man, Flash separated Andi from Mania and learned the truth. He used an elixir from Wenb to pacify the effects, but only temporarily. Agent Venom offered to take Mania back under his wing in order to find a cure. They then both joined Spider-Man Incorporated.
