History

Before the Acolytes

Chrome was originally named Allen Marc. He was a good student, with a fascination for alchemy and a love of machines. He always studied hard, and was relatively popular at school. He married his childhood sweetheart, and took her name, becoming Allen Marc Yuric, and life was good for a time. But soon, his mutant powers developed (he was a late bloomer), and he accidentally turned her engagement ring into paper. She thought he pawned it, and even though he was able to reverse the change, she kicked him out. After their divorce, he kept her name, but she left him penniless, and he was forced to move in with an unknown friend.
