Alison Blaire is a mutant rock star and lead singer of the band Dazzler. The band is known for it's stunning pyrotechnics, which are actually from Alison's mutant powers. She later joined the X-Men and got in a romantic relationship with Tabitha Smith, a human fan of her band.

- Sound to Light - Alison has the ability to convert sound waves into colorful lights, causing the pyrotechnics her concerts are known for. If the sound is really loud, she can turn into a destructive beam of explosive energy.
