Alexander "Alec" Masters is the boyfriend of Becky Grimm. He's a blind sculptor.
He found himself drawn to Becky when she saved him from members of the Yancy Street Gang who demanded protection money.
He was raised by his step-mother Philomena after the death of his father.

- He's a fan of reggae music. His favorite singers are Bob Marley and Shaggy.
- Like his female counterparts in the Tim Story movies and Fantastic Four: World's Greatest Heroes animated series, Alec is African-American, with the same hair and eye colors as the latter.
- His first encounter with Becky is inspired by a level in the video game based on the 2005 Fantastic Four movie.
